      yes, you can just connect with a usb or even bluetooth and it works flawlessly.

      DS4windows or inputmapper are two most recommended software for it.

    Thanks OP, I didn't even know there was a version 2 but the rubber on the thumbsticks on one of my two PS4 controllers has disintegrated so it'll be great if that issue is sorted on this new version. Just ordered one and finally found a way to make use of $19 of Amazon credit I had lying around for a while from responding to a survey.

      version 2 has been out for more than a year, its not a major upgrade. its just few tweaks as you can see the lightbar on the touchpad and less lag as it now supports usb input. Previously it supported bluetooth input and usb connection but now it supports input from both method.

    Read the negative reviews people are saying the charging doesn't work after a week. Seems like it is the unoriginal PS4 DualShock Controller. Can you please confirm if it is the genuine controller once you receive it.

      this is 100% official editions. This is not unoriginal, what even is that. This is Version 2, sold by Official Sony via Amazon. This is not second hand or anything of sorts.

      If people are saying charging doesnt work after a week, its highly due to the cable they are using, a cable does not come with this product unlike it comes when you buy a PS4. Dont trust those reviews, simple.
