    The single core score of 2000 is a bit concerning. It puts it in the same performance band as a Core 2 Duo E8500 CPU.

    CPU is very behind the times and is not efficient. Efficiency even less than Ivy Bridge, maybe even worse.

      Thanks. Might wait until the i5-8250U increases its presence along with the Ryzen 2500U and 2700U.

      Hopefully they will drive prices lower.

  The CPU is its sole weakness. But if you have typed on a thinkpad you would truly appreciate its keyboard feel. it's easily the best. Great for people who type a lot.

  Also note that this E575 has an IPS screen, not TN

  Its classic design is unmistakably thinkpad.. Looks business ;)
