Yeah this is the only reason im not pulling the trigger. The previous version seems to crack real easy

Videopro has excellent customer service (at least in my experience) and all stock are local stock with full manufacture (Australian) warranty. You shouldn't have any problems and they are usually quick to deal with issues if any comes up.
Can confirm also had nothing but great experiences, standard delivery to Sydney took 2 days.
Then why estimate over a week then?

If they estimate its over a week, and it takes "only" 2 days you will be so happy you post about it on ozbargain. But if something say down at AusPost goes wrong and it takes them over a week, well then your expectations are set from the beginning and you are also happy.
This would be an Oz post/courier thing rather than videopro I suspect.

$495 list price - $99 (20%) = $396.
Cheaper with AMEX HN deal ($448 - $100 cashback = $348) but this is a pretty good price for those without AMEX deal who want a reputable dealer with bricks and mortar store service in case of issues.
