IMO not great at all, the guy in theshavershop sold it to me for about $200 and I soon moved onto safety blades and kept my wahl for traveling.

What’s no good about? Compared to other beard trimmers (I wouldnt expect it to perform as good as a blade for shaving, but that’s not what I’d ud use it for anyway)
Had mine over 18 months.. Perfect and I'll charge it every 3 months or so as I don't have to spend more time trimming.. Very good cutting blades and accessories..I have purchased another as a gift because quality.. The stuff about the power button issue is all on how you press the button properly.. Take care of things and it works
for me, it was my first electric shaver and for $200 I expected a bit more really. the charge is excellent, but I find it had to keep going over and over the same areas and still had an uneven finish. even using the head that is meant for the closest shave , it's still not close.
i might just be being fussy though, like I said this was my first one and it had a high price tag (for me!).
edit, it's no where near as close as a blade as you said you expected!

Bought mine from Amazon about 12 months ago. A couple of months ago the main trimmer head broke. Wahl Australia and they advised they will not honour warranty for purchase from Amazon. Replacement was only $16 from Shaver Shop anyway.
The charger is a multivoltage wallwart with US pins, so you just need a US to AU pin adapter.
It is an excellent trimmer, and i'm still really happy with it.
2.0 is about the same price, anyone knows which one is better?
