Prices really have changed … was it $900 back in the day for a 19"?
I might pick MSY (thanks Portmac, below) though, as MSY's not too far from me and Centrecom's a distance away
Though, since I'm in VIC metro, it's $16.50 shipping … so only $6.50 difference for me …
You can pick up the same model at MSY for $99.
Yes we are $10 cheaper than MSY.
But that's before any shipping fees.
$45 shipping to WA !!!
FREE SHIPPING, they'd be gone in minutes.
free shipping and I'll take one (in Perth)
why cannot pickup?
Here's the MSY parts PDF all the way back from 2003:

A 19 inch LCD monitor would cost you… get ready for it, $999!
Fast forward 7 years later and now we're paying less than a hundred for it.
If only property prices were going the same way…
Amen to that
how much would shipping be to Sydney?
(if its > $10 ill prob go to MSY)$18 to Sydney for me
Better to buy local incase your have any pixel issues…. MSY have a 7 day dead pixel policy. This came in hand a few weeks ago when I bught an ASUS monitor with a bright red defective pixel in the middle of the screen.
-> Centrecom
If there are warranty claims:
- do people come to Centrecom
- deal with an overseas supplier
- deal with a local supplier
- …
I remember my dad buying a IBM XT for ~$15,000 in 1983 with 128kB of memory, a 360kB double-sided 5.25" floppy drive and a monster 10 meg HDD powered by a killer 4.77 MHz 8088 intel chip. let's not forget the daisy wheel printer that came in its own noise control cabinet.
let me pull out my netbook that I paid $200 for with 4 gig of memory, 360gig HDD and Atom n350 processory. I'll just plug in my 32 gig usb drive and external 2TB hdd as well.
the keyboard on the XT weighs double what the netbook does.
aaww, pleaze stop this nostalgic price recollection - it hurts! :(
How on earth did you score that bad boy for $200?
Ok, just saved myself $100. Would prefer to pay more for full resolution.
do people remember how much flat monitors used to cost 5 years ago… :O
