Pure wool suits for ~AU$200 delivered - pretty good!

  • +2

Can't seem to make it work for the $40 shirts?

    • Is there a $40 deal at the moment?

TM have been known to cancel orders when you combine deals (eg. $40 shirts plus X% off).

      • +1

Yep, this deal still gives $40 shirts + free shipping over $50 instead of $120.

        • how does that work? i added two shirts (FR10 code doesnt work), removed one. and its $40 + $10 for shipping

    Thanks Good finding

Should be mentioned in the body or title of the deal.

  • How do their suit pants fit compared to MJ Bale or Charles Tyrwhitt?

I find MJ Bale's slim fit too slim and CT's slim fit not slim enough (but CT have an extra slim fit which would probably be more what I'm after).

    • I'd size up on size on the slim pants and I find they fit very well, really nice cut. I recently tried the slim fit MJ bale pants and didn't like how they looked, I had to size up a size in them as well but they still didn't fit right.

  • How do their shirts compare with CT? CT's shirts are only $33 when there is the 3 for $100 offer…

    • I rate TM a bit better than CT, but it is pretty close IMO.

    • I rate TM worse than CT. CT shirts are longer which is great when wearing it tucked it. TM shirt are too short for me and constantly come out. Of the 4 TM shirts I have bought, I have had one rip and the other fray. I could just be unlucky. I have not had any issue with CT shirt though. TM have a tighter cut. I also think TM has younger and more trendy designs.

What type of TM shirts are you getting? All of my TM and CT shirts are super long, much longer than any other business shirts I have owned.

    • not much different, I still prefer CT's shirts

    • In my experience TM Lewin's fits are a bit better especially if you are on the slender side, but their fabrics aren't as good as CTs. Before I gained a shitton of weight recently (and now need to buy new shirts in the meantime while trying to get back in shape), I used to wear CT's extra slim and TML's 'fitted', their second slimmest one after 'fully fitted'.

Damn, need $5 to qualify for free shipping.

edit: actually it's just cheaper to pay for the shipping than for crap I don't need.

  • Not everything

Doesn't work on their new Liberty Fabrics collection

  • Got a woolen suit for $350.

Unfortunately I missed out on some cheap suits because my waist isn't 30 or 42inches.

  • I cant find the place to enter the coupon.

Their super fitted range seems close to my size, having trouble with shirts because of my large neck size, although i want a pocket too.

  • thanks, bought two pairs of chinos

    Is this no longer working?

I tried to apply to sale items and didn't work with "Promotion code "AUS30OFF" could not be added to your bag."..

Tried then with just a full price item and same error

    • Sorry may bad, did a click through on the $40 shirts and it must of set a cookie

  • +1

Can I use this for shirts to get it cheaper than the $40 deal?

  • +1

Has anyone had experience with returns? Specifically what sort of cost to post (by air) a suit back to the UK?

  • I want to buy some of their shirts but have never bought shirts online. I'm worried I get the size wrong or the fit will not be to my liking.
What's the best way to make sure i get a right fit?

    • +1

Stop by their physical shop and get measured there.

  • Has the 3 for 99$, CT shirt offer expired ??

  • Thanks OP. got 4 shirts for 154

    • Am I missing something? I load 4 shirts in the cart and it brings them down to $75 each. $300 total. For some reason I can't get the $220 before applying the 30% off.

      • It's "from" 220. If you view all shirts and sort by price, some of them are $55 if you order 4 or more.

        • Makes sense… cheers

  • What brand would people recommend for shirts and pants for a youngster starting out in finance/accounting industry?

I'm always on the worth it side and will be looking for sales before the new year to stock up on good quality shirts.

    • TM Lewin is a good for all.

I wish they were around when I was starting out…. back in my day… anything under 500 was pretty crap

My managers manager wear these, his job means he has to rub shoulders with big wigs quite often

Does anyone know their exchange (for different size) policy with online purchases?

  • +2

Has anyone tried returns in-store with TM Lewins when buying online? I had to return a shirt last Friday and they couldn't give me a refund on the spot. The person said they need to email it through and I haven't heard anything else. I was also not given any receipt they took my shirt. Was this procedure correct?

    • +1

Yeah that's standard they ship it back to UK and they'll process it. Done it a few times. They should really change it so they give you a receipt.

      • It’s an odd procedure. They just scribble down the order number on a scrap piece of paper.

How long did you return take?

Thanks for commenting, by the way.

        • +1

About a week or two. I forgot about it but when I checked it was already refunded. That is the third return I've done so atleast they've been reliable!

        • @911r: Did you get charged for the return postage on their behalf? Or is this a way to return items for free?

        • +1

          @JimmyLmao: it's free :)

        • @911r:did you just take the item in store or did you have to contact them first?
