It can work in windows 10 if you install old drivers manually…
Manually install drivers and it works fine with windows 10. Currently have one running on latest Windows 10 with NextPVR and Kodi.
oh nice. I couldnt get drivers to install when i tried after windows 10 was released
Works fine for me on Windows 10. The driver .inf claims to be version 5.18.0.2 (11/18/2010). I signed it with my own code-signing cert.
I also got it working with Plex DVR and a Synology running tvheadend using tvhproxy to emulate an HDHomeRun.
I am attempting the exact same thing with tvhproxy. Could you link me to a tutorial somewhere? And does it work well?
impressive. I was using it back before plex brought our DVR so i was running win media center which they dropped in w10
Mine worked better for me in Windows 10 Media Center than in Windows 7. Obvs YMMV. As discussed above, you just need to use a manually installed driver
Awesome guide for setting up Tvheadend on LibreELEC using the PlayTV below (thanks again Mildew):

"PlayTV will never be out of date."
;_;7
Don't bother. They don't have stock. Tried to order from four different stores and they all got cancelled because of no stock even when the online system showing in stock.
I was going to buy one but everytime I ordered it got cancelled and gave up after the 4th store.
I remember this thing.
Really cool idea, but all the houses I was in while I owned it never had good reception in my bedroom, sucked ass. When it wanted to go though it was pretty cool recording all my shows onto the
PornStationPlayStation 3.Watching live TV through Remote Play on PSP was really cool for 2011 too.
Surely the poor reception was to do with your antenna, rather than the Play TV?
Nope.
This was tested in every room in a house in Boronia, Vic. Every room in a house in Kings Meadows, Tas. And every room in a house in Croydon, Vic. Each test was with a couple of different antennas too.
Don't think for a second I'm knocking PlayTV, because I'm not, I'm just saying I was really unlucky I lived in a shitty reception areas when I used PlayTV.
In Australia, you normally need an antenna on the roof, to outlet on the wall. Were you using rabbit ears?
And if you set this up properly, you can stream over your lan to anywhere in the house.
Instore only now?
Called around and one of the stores actually did have one like the website said. Thanks.
Doesn't work with windows 10. Works with windows 7 and Media Center however
