Hello all smart home people. I understand we all love Xiaomi stuff so am hoping this deal fills some holes left in peoples techno houses/hearts.
After ordering 13 RGB yeelights and 4 lightstips I became ever so frustrated with my kids turning the lights off at the mains. It made my Homeassistant look nasty with everything unavailable. Enter the new love of my techno life…. a wireless button!
Before you start getting too excited, please be mind full that having a Xiaomi Gateway is a necessity, no way around it as it uses this funky fandangled technology called Zigbee which means it uses pretty much no power and is safer for the nads! If you don't have it, I would be asking myself why I didn't have it as it plays the best (and only) chinese radio I have ever heard! It can also function as a pretty sweet nightlight. Can connect with other cheap devices like the temperature/humidity sensor, door/wall sensors, motion sensors and the Zigbee smart power socket (that also reports power usage that can save more money). Just remember each Gateway max out at 30 devices.

EDIT: there's also this switch/button (thanks @reno) for anybody who likes to mix it up/needs more than 3. I personally prefer the simple round style myself (and it is cheaper)
AU$7.62/US$5.99
use code: reno2
Once you have the sweet button in your hands you can then assign tasks that the button can do, either by the Mi Home app or your favourite smart home flavour such as Homeassistant, Domoticz etc We have 3 in our bedroom; 1 on each side of the bed and 1 at the door.
Currently I have mine set up for 1 click light on/off, 2 clicks lamp on/off, press and hold to turn everything off. With a bit of youtube/know how/smart kids you can pretty much assign the button to do most smart commands.
Limited to first 494 stock ,3 units per order, 1 order per account. It was 500, but after I told my wife about how much of a bargain it was she couldn't resist. Code only work for AU and NZ only (sorry Russia).
If you have any basic questions I am happy to help out. Remember the true ozbargain saying though, buy now ask later, also something something cashrewards.
TLDR; its a smart button that can be configured/assigned to turn things on/off etc. You need the Gateway to go with it though
Any chance of a cheap security kit?
