    • The vending machines at Heathrow airport are generally more expensive than direct from 3, and there is no 3 mobile store in Heathrow airport. The airport newsagent retailers also charge more.

      When I was there I had to leave the airport and pick my 3 SIM up from a store near one of the tube stations.

      So this deal is worth it to have immediate data on arrival so you can easily call an Uber etc.

    Travelling to HK, Vienna and UK.

    Usually use Vodafone when travelling to UK so I hope the Three coverage is comparable.

      In the UK Vodafone have more complaints made against them than any of the others, if that helps.
      (So they're just like Vodafone in Australia in that respect).
      The company with the greatest 'coverage' is EE although I have three 3 PAYG SIMs, 1-As a backup, within my dual SIM phone, for my contract EE SIM and 2-Installed in separate phones for foreign visitors, and I've not had any problems, or complaints, yet about the service.
      The advantage to me, as I've posted above, is that the recharge (which can be done in virtually any 'convenience' store, supermarket, on the telephone or via the internet) on a 3 SIM doesn't expire, ever, and with such a low recharge amount and usage costs the 3 SIM is a plus, plus for me.
      Please don't be fooled into thinking that any of the UK providers are being generous allowing roaming in Europe at UK rates as it's an EU requirement.
      In the UK free wifi is available virtually everywhere so the need to buy a SIM as soon as the plane hits the tarmac (metaphorically speaking) shouldn't be a pressing issue and you will get a better deal going to the provider's store rather than purchasing through a third party.

  • Great deal, only caveat is the clause: "Feel At Home is designed for UK residents who are on holiday or business trips abroad. It is not designed for extended periods abroad"

    This of course doesn't stop one using multiple sims over time.

    The company have messed up the shipment of my order. Received a phone call on Wednesday asking when I was departing (Friday evening, now actually) and they lady agreed to send it to me via express post so it would get to me in time. Got nothing in the mail all of today.

      Checking on your order in did in fact arrive in your mailbox however, you notified us that the mailman had put it in your friends mailbox by accident is that correct?

      I can go ahead and authorise a full refund if you didn't have the chance to receive your SIM before you fly.

      I ordered from this company in August. Was told that my SIM had been posted not once, but twice! And still haven't recieved anything. If you look back on old deals, I'm not the only one.

      Got it resolved by So Easy Travel within 1hr. It’s a bit unfortunate at first but happy for the quick resolution. Hope my case not happen again.

          Just to remind you, if your SIM card has the bundle allowance on the front of the packaging then you will not have any credit issues as the bundles activate automatically, only a handful of customers received a voucher pin SIM as they were travelling much earlier than anticipated so we had to send them an alternative.

          If your SIM Card has the AIO 20 on the front you are good to go and should have no issues.

    I activated the SIM today in Netherlands (Order #2309).
    No internet. The brower says this account runs out of credit.

    Could you please look into it urgently ?

      All SIM cards have been shipped and have most likely been received by now, we have tracking number for the majority of customers who were departing earlier to prove this. all other customers travelling later next year were pushed back in order to receive stock later as the success of this ozbargain stock surpassed the amount of SIMS we had available.

    I landed in Milan yesterday and am having similar problems to others in this thread. I have no calls/data and my browser says I’ve run out of credit? Can you please resolve this? I’ve tried emailing yesterday but received no response. My order number is 2122. I really need this working for my work emails.

        • @carlenet: I’ll keep you posted. I’ve spoken to Three on Twitter. They asked me to register for an online account and activate roaming. I created the account and roaming was already activated. It also shows no data/credit/etc on the account. So I’m guessing that SoEasyTravel just haven’t applied the credit to the account.

        • @carlenet: So still no reply. Too late to worry about now. I’ve opened up a PayPal claim and will try get my money back. Even if they fixed it now, it’s too late for me. Hopefully yours is all good.

          I contacted 3 via live chat on their app, strangely there’s no live chat on their website hence had to create a UK iTunes account to d/l the app. Rahul, from 3 live chat, told me they couldn’t see anything regarding my sim until I pop it into my phone and activate but felt certain I wouldn’t have a problem but said they’d do everything to help me if I encountered one. Fingers crossed huh!?

          @scrimshaw: I apologise but have to say nothing was really happening until another way of contacting them was found. So many people emailed through the proper channel and have very delayed or no response at all.

          The details are actually not personal and are public record.

        • Got the item today and the tracking infomation was updated only this morning.

          However, I have already put in a dispute with Paypal and can not back out as later if I use it in Italy and says i dont have any credit than I can not open Paypal dispute again.

          I don't know if I want to give them a second chance cause that will be $36 bucks down the drain if There's a fault and looking at how long the reply takes for support… What options are there?

      In the end both sims work. Thank you, but a bit disappointed as it didnt do it immediately.
