  • mmm time to move from boost i think

  • Boost Mobile $300 pack is $239.9 with PLUS120 code:

    • Hmm, i'm with Telstra at the moment, any issues porting to Boost?

    • Does this make Boost better than the Telstra deal?

  • Is Telstra signal stronger than boost? Thanks.

    • +1

I heard Telstra Customers get priority when there is congestion on the network.

      • +1

I'm not sure how that would be, as Boost was just setup as a plan within the Telstra system, not like the other MVNOs

    • Boost uses telstra

    • It's the same.

      • -1

Boost does not use the Full Telstra 4GX network which covers some areas that Boost can not.

I have been testing and experimenting with Telstra and Boost in rural/regional areas and is sometimes

the case. Some others on here have confirmed that also. People in the Capitals won't notice,

untill you travel far and wide.

        • That’s not true - I have used it on mine sites where only Telstra direct customers can use the tower (not wholesale).

I have also compared a corporate Telstra SIM with Boost and have had the same speeds and bands wherever I go.

  • 2023- telstra
    2024- boost
    2025- back to telstra…

    • I use both also. Can you please explain why you went back to Telstra now?

      • I have no issues with Boost Mobile. I can hardly tell the diff between using these two. But if the price and data value are similar, I prefer to use Telstra.

Only issue: When I transferred from Telstra to Boost Mobile, it was a very painful process. I had to go to a Telstra store to get it resolved. The issue seems to be that they share the same database for users since both use Telstra's network.

  • How easy to move from Boost to Telstra, do i need to get a $2 SIM on different provider to bounce around? Cheers.

    • +1

boost to Telstra is generally easy. Not sure about other way round.

  • I cant use the code for some reason is there a different code when applying it at checkout?

    • +1

Need to be eBay plus member

  • The Telstra $160/120 GB/6 month sim pack can also be had for $140 with same code.

That one suited my needs more for the next 9 months or so as will be travelling to W.A./N.T. (still have 3 months to go on Boost)

  • Hi Everyone - I am with Boost at the moment and if i had to port to Telstra - is that straight forward or do i need to move to like an optus or vodafone network and then port to Telstra? Since boost is of telstra network? Thank you for your input!

it would be handy if i can just port to telstra from boost - if anyone has done this before?
