  • Type C? Height adjustable stand? RGB 99%?

      Band 28?

      8 cores?
      Includes pedals?

  • Type A, Yes, 99% sRGB, 80% DCI-P3

  • If you were quick, you could have got it for about $636 this morning. There were only 2 left.

Dell are currently selling for $749.

Catch.com.au also have it for $754 so you could wait until they have a 10% of sitewide sale

    • I can confirm the $636 delivered price as I brought 1 this morning. It was very tempting to buy both and use a T16 for a dual screen setup.

  • 27" too small for 4k, imho

    • Agreed, high res on small screen = gimmicks with minimal real-world benefits.

How so?? I have used a laptop with a 4K screen and it was great. But I am still happy with FHD for a laptop. Now that I have gotten used to 65" 4k resolution, I can see the difference on any size screen. My old 1080p monitor has fuzzy looking text and is not anywhere near as crisp. Itching for an upgrade but waiting for prices to come down or technology to improve (e.g. add in real HDR10)

      • you are using a 65" 4k monitor ?

      • I sort of agree. It's too high a resolution to use at native resolution without scaling, and Windows scaling isn't the greatest, at least not at 150% I use on my Surface. 5K 27 would be better for 200% scaling imo, and 32" 4k without scaling.

Apples and oranges I guess. The one I posted works well with my setup which powers my MBP in a nice simple way. This might be a sensational monitor too, but doesn't do what I need it to, and perhaps others (which is why I posted the deal in the first place, to try help people similar to me)

    • Fair enough. Didn’t need USB-C so wasn’t a consideration for me, so yeah agreed. :)

  • Interesting. It has HDMI 2.0 now.

Seems to support HDR10 also. Is it fake HDR though?

Most important for me is whether it supports 1:1 pixel mapping.

    • I think it is Dell's own version of HDR. If it was real HDR10 I would have bought it. It's quite frustrating that there is no monitor out there for a reasonable price that is also suitable for plugging in a 4K Blu-Ray/Gaming console and taking advantage of HDR.
