I had a voucher for a free doughnut with a coffee purchase when this royal bean coffee was released.
The coffee went in the bin after a mouthful, it was awful, the milk was heated to just under boiling and it tasted like it had been burnt.
Worked out to be one expensive doughnut :(
yeah i know mate it can be hit and miss, i think alot of them dont know how to make the coffee properly. i am just happy that my local does a good cup. but your right some of them do not do a good job and burn the milk or leave the extraction for too long.
Do the stores have any sort of mandatory barista training for staff that make coffees? I suspect as others have said it's just luck whether the person making your coffee has any idea what they're doing.
It really depends on the maker, one DK I went to made my chai latte and it tasted terrible(too watery) and another DK I went to made a great one!
can you please make another doughnut deal or give a free cinnamon doughnut with a coffee at all stores. my local does it but the one near my work doesnt :(
love the coffee now though, much better than before.
