      It's a standard E27 bulb with the motor inside it, it shouldn't even need a projector?

      I've seen these things before and my guess is that by saying 'projector' they mean just a standard E27 lamp/bulb holder.

    No need to buy a projector, you can use as a ordinary bulb. This E27 bulb can give out snow pattern.

  The lamp is a self contained snowflake projector. They are referring to a standard e27 lampholder, under $10 at Bunnings. Keep in mind however it’s not waterproof. It also operates at regular household voltage so maybe not too safe around the kids being that the cover fall off at any time and expose live (read:death) voltages.
