Was tossing up between this and the Samsung 55'' for the same price. Went in store and had a look at them side by side. Decided this looked better. Also, better finish with all stainless steel border and stand instead of the awkward black border and stainless steel stand of Samsung.
Note: In-store this price was due to finish by midnight tonight and might be higher tomorrow. Not sure if the same for eBay store.

Bought one early today, tried to get the local JB to match but the guy was a tosser.
A stainless steel border is not a better finish, it is distracting, it is much better to get a black border instead.
I bought a 6 Series 55" Samsung and it was crap compared to my older 8 Series 55" Samsung.
I took it back and paid more for a 7 Series. Well worth the upgrade…..
Before you buy this look up RGBW.

You just typed 55 foot. That's equivalent to 660 inches.
