About the show: Based on the 1980 film of the same name, FAME follows the lives of a group of students at New York City's High School of Performing Arts. The show first debuted in Australia in 1999 and has returned for a limited revival season, directed and choreographed by So You Think You Can Dance's Kelley Abbey. Abbey recently received the 2010 Helpmann Award for Best Choreography in a Musical for her work on FAME.
