how does 191usd become 375 aud…. or am i missing something
Dumb Ozbargain moderator edited the title. I have fixed it.
Says USD $279.99 + $11.82 via your link.
Cashback does not apply to electronics
So just curious, is this a sale or are these prices being dropped across the board?
I am just going by the saving off AU PC retailers. In this case $55.00 saving.
And what about the other Cards as well. Because im seeing 1070s for 450 and on sites like pc case gear they sit at around 660?
Where are these 1070s for $450? Cheapest on Amazon is the Zotac Mini for ~$525 shipped.
Unless my browser is stuffed. im looking at an (ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 O8GB Dual-fan OC Edition 4K/VR Ready Dual HDMI DP 1.4 Gaming Graphics Card (DUAL-GTX1070-O8G))
@ Price: $429.89 + $12.65 Shipping & Import Fees Deposit to Australia Details
But knowing me im stupid and the costs is in USD not AUD lol
@Marto101: Uh, yeah, that's USD :P
@MissKitty: I knew im stupid :P
@MissKitty: But also. if you get that the convertion i think still puts it at a 60$ price drop
@Marto101: Oh, it's still cheaper than here. But these are standard prices, I think. There's no special sale on, though the Zotac was US$419 the other week and is now down to $399, for what it's worth.
@MissKitty: Luckily I picked up my Asus 1070 DUAL for $466 from Austin Computers when eBay had their 15% off sitewide start of June. So glad I just decided to do it after seeing what the prices did after that :/ (off topic).
I grabbed the 3gb 1060, the extra performance of the 6gb compared to the extra $150 on price just isn't worth it (unless you are light on onboard RAM). With the correct drivers and settings, this card may not score like a Titan, but it damn sure plays like the first edition Titan gpu, I side by sided them yesterday. The physX was even better actually.
$15 more and you get the MSI Gaming X version (runs super quiet) and better clocked, locally from Scorptec
https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Graphics-Cards/NVIDIA/65…
$390 local stock for an arguably better version 1060 6gb card
Cool story bro. That's a 3GB version.
oops yes…mwave had 6gb version for $419. I got one from there on Friday
Thanks for sharing. Was hoping to get it tonight since I'm still rocking a 5770 but they ran out! Really hope they can come back soon!
I picked one up for ~$350 a month back on ebays 20% off sale. Good price though if you can't wait.
