Thanks for posting. This one didn't work, but the FREEMEAL1 code from one of the expired deals you linked to did :)

  • Can someone explain to me how I remove my CC details from the website? I've provided them it cause I was $5 over however, now can't find a way to remove my CC!!!

    • Give them a call. It's stated here under Point T.

Thanks for the reply. Also that sucks…. Should have PayPaled.

  • You need to call up and cancel. Alternatively you could try emailing them. This is where PayPal is your friend. Able to cancel billing arrangement without talking to them.

    • Another option is to change your delivery address to an area that they do not deliver? I can't imagine them chasing you or charging you then…

  • This deal turned up via email for me over weekend. Took advantage of it and i have to say what they send you is pretty decent. Probably not something that i could justify doing ongoing given the prices of the meals but the ingredients they sent out were all brand name and they send out heaps to. Turned up on the step this arvo so looking forward to making up a meal during the week and seeing how it tastes.

Signed up on Sunday to try this and next thing I know, I have an order confirmation for over $100 to be delivered Monday 12AM-7AM. It was past 12PM so no way to cancel from the website, and it was a Sunday so couldn't reach by phone. Cancelled the agreement on paypal so no money would be withdrawn but still woke up to the produce on my door and CS on the phone insist I need to pay.. I feel robbed! Not one single code applied, didn't even get to the point where I needed to choose a delivery date, no idea how my cart was submitted to them! Now I need to pay over 50$ for some flour, milk, cheese and strawberries to make pancakes!! I WAS NOT ADDING TO CART TO BUY!
Next stop is ACL but I wanted to post a warning here too!

    • Thats odd. Not sure how the order could have gone through without you choosing items, placing them in your card and actually confirming your order? I had no issues. The code was targeted so did you make sure that it actually applied before ordering?

      • Added items, tried the code, didn't work, left the website..

        • I suspect you clicked on confirm mate. Only way the order could have gone through.

        • @hazzad: Nah. It's a problem on their website. Order is automatically confirmed when you enter promo code even if you don't click Confirm. I called the customer service and reported this issue. He threatened me to debt collector if I don't pay my order. They didn't cancel the order and still deliver it. I thought I'm doing a favour for them to report the technical issue on their website but instead getting threatened in return. I then talked to a smarter person, the supervisor who understood the issue and confirmed it's a technical problem on their website.

I'm too scared to try again and see if it's a website glitch.. very expensive mistake!

        • +2

I made the same mistake!!! Had 2 items in basket (worth $49.95) and coupon code did not work so I thought I'd have to register an account for it to work. Registered and added PayPal as payment option and next minute I received an email saying order confirmed.

          1. Did not see confirm button
          2. Did not press confirm button
          3. Did not confirm delivery date or time
          4. Items were still in basket at time of registration but I didn't checkout whatsoever

I have cancelled the PayPal payment agreement subscription and emailed them as I could not get through to their phone service or live chat. Will be having a word with the ombudsman should the products arrive on my doorstep anytime soon…

This is a warning to those reading these comments and thinking of using this service. Think twice before adding anything to cart and adding PayPal or card info…

I can confirm that putting in a code that doesn't work will automatically confirm your order (and choose the earliest delivery date). I immediately noticed this and removed the item off my cart to avoid any charges. It's either a system glitch or a very sneaky tactic.

        • Package arrived today…eek!

        • @koalafied: You have done exactly what I had done, to the letter!! Don't panic, I didn't leave a front unattacked after I got the package :P I think what worked was a facebook comment, now deleted because they called and fixed it up for me, I only had to pay for what I intended to buy minus 50$ discount! They actually said what DuckKnight confirmed above, applying a code (even if it doesn't work) confirms the order!

        • @Miss Engineer:
What did they say when they called? They still haven't responded to my email or called me…

          @koalafied:
Comment on Facebook was replied to the next day, saying the supervisor will give me a call. Supervisor said they were very sorry about the first call with the agent and that she had no right to be rude.

They had listened to the call recording and I had mentioned this may be a website glitch. They investigated with the IT team and comfirmed I had indeed confirmed the order. I stood my ground and said I sure did not. She said maybe u tried a code? Clicking apply code confirms an order! As this was not mentioned anywhere they were happy to negotiate a refund.

        • @DuckKnight: That's misleading. They should be banned from ozbargain before causing further damage. The customer service threatened to forward the issue to debt collector because we have done right for reporting technical glitch on their website. Well done.

  • Odd given I tried same thing with codes from previous week with items in my cart and I had no such issues. I'd even tried this very code when it was first posted with items in my cart and nothing happened.
