I have one of these and can confirm they are very good. Got in last years sale for $150.
Hey McB. What's the battery / runtime like?
Bought one a few weeks ago and also bought the extra swivel head for $50 whoch gives you full left and right movement to get under the lounge
They say 20 mins run time and i would say that about right , have cleaned the house 3 times on the first charge on a mix of floor boards and carpet rugs so it may improve in time with a few more charges
Very happy , good suction , collects all the dog fur and amazing amount of superfine dust
Also comes with a crevice tool and a brush tool so its going to get a workout in the car today
Ordered online and it arrived next day
wow.. that's 150+50 = 200
why not v6 for <260 when on sale ?
If i had found one for $260 i prob would but for a few reasons
Havent seen one for that price
6 mins as full power battery life , no thanksI went into godfreys a few weeks back for a different one that was $150 , i tried it and a few others and decided agaist it , i did try this hoover and at the time it was $300 and i didnt want to spend that sort of money
The hoover did a good job of the car yesterday but i did get caught twice where the dump button got pressed against the car somewhere and dumped all the dirt onto the just vacuumed floor :( , not such a bad neg but something to be aware of for the future use
@J5:
haven't seen 1 ? obviously you haven't been browsing Ozb much.
and who the heck use MAX turbo mode all the time for 6mins ?
you get the same 20mins runtime on normal mode which already have enough suction.
just ask any Ozb here whether their v6 sucks or not.
Yeah i agree with J5. I get through about two weeks before needing a charge.
How is the suction power compared to Dyson V6?
I had one of these and it literally lased 12 months to the day. It was repaired once under warranty due to a clip breaking where the main body held the attachment. I then had the motor burn out and fail about one week after the warranty ran out.
It was a great vac while it lasted but it's certainly not a Dyson. I now have the Dyson V6 and wish I had just bought that in the first place.
50% off is probably a bit misleading as these things are always on sale around that price mark. I actually got mine for $99 when I bought it.
Please add Godfrey's to the title. Resolved.
