The description says it will charge even upside down but not fast charge!!!
How good are these from anyone who owns one? Good for the car?(does it locate ok or is it a great idea with poor execution?)
Total crap…tried 3 different usb cables on all th eports of the PC…light comes on the adapter but usb device neither charges nor is recognised.

I think they only work with selective devices. Won't work with a Samsung S2, Sony Xperia, Kindle, or Kindle Paperwhite but does work with a Samsung S5 so depending upon the device you might get it to work for you.

None of these magnetic microusb adapters or cables have the 2 normal pointed microusb retaining protrusions found on a standard microusb cable. Instead, they have a 'lame' stamped protrusion, as that photo shows.

no mention of a cable, simply a female-male adaptor, basically plugs on the end of your cable of choice
So it will end up being a cable with a double head. I think that looks dumb.
I don't see how this thing can be magnetic if you're meant to pull it out when done charging instead of leave it in.
U can get one that has a cable on ebay for about the same money…but it still won't have those standard micro usb locking 'pins'
Will this work if we plug it in upside down too?
