Hmm it's $599 for the 64GB directly from OnePlus to Australia since they are now shipping here. I assume warranty etc would be easier to deal with them when purchased from them directly
"directly" meaning what? You do realise that "OnePlus Australia" will ship you an overseas model from an overseas warehouse, right?
They do, they're just saying that for warranty purposes it'll probably be easier to deal with OnePlus as opposed to Joybuy.
OnePlus only offers warranty on devices purchased from their website and authorised resellers.
Yeh I do know that was pretty clear in what I said, I'm pretty sure I didn't mention, Australian stock with Australian warranty or even a Australian charger but I did mention the simplicity of potential need for a warranty claim.

OnePlus is root/developer/tinkerer-friendly so no warranty voiding. Pretty much the only reason I choose this over an LG G6

Bought it just now, with Paypal, 128 GB cost me 599 bucks. Just wondering how long does it take for them to change the status of the order? I paid a few hours ago, but the order status still shows ' COnfirming Payment'. I wonder if anyone else is facing the same issue.
It took a day for them to change the status for me, and tracking takes maybe another day to update.

took them 1 week to clear payment as I accidentally paid through echeck on Paypal instead of Debit card. 1 more week to get the tracking number. The weird thing I found out was Belgium post would be handling the shipping so the item was first shipped to belgium.
