Sells for 1800-1900 at Sony Centres depending on the salesman. You get a ps3 and other accessories as well. If someone can confirm the models are the same, it would be appreciated. I'm currently at Work and using an iPhone.

Was just about to post the same link too. That package is available at DSE and Sony Centres with a disply price of $1999, with good bargaining can probably get it down to a cheaper price. So this isn't really a good deal since for an extra $200-300 you can get the following:

Yeah it's the same model. DJ had it for $1799 with a ps3, 3d glasses and accessories + something like 5 movies, but that deal ended on Sunday. $1699 doesn't look very attractive at all.
That deal was great, shame i didn't know about it last week. While I'm sure that at some point in the near future there will be great deals, this seems to be the best deal for this TV at the moment.
I'm personally thinking about 55" 3D LCD TV. If anyone is aware of any good deals on those, please let me know.

Are you thinking of the Samsung? From what I've heard for 3D, LCD really isn't as good. Surely they'd be nice TVs but they just aren't able to completely change to a different eye's image as fast, so you can get them blurring a bit together.
A friend recently got the 55" LED with 3D, it does look great but we didn't get to see the 3D in action. For ourselves we have just gotten the 50" Samsung 3D plasma, and it does look stunning.
Is this the same as the one from cotd? If so I know somebody who won't be happy.
