The link above is for AvP and it is a really good deal IMO..

Link for Sanctuary Season 1 is http://www.amazon.com/Sanctuary-Complete-First-Season-Blu-ra….

Link for Sanctuary Season 2 is http://www.amazon.com/Sanctuary-Complete-Second-Season-Blu-r….

Both seasons of Sanctuary are apparently Region 1, however reading comments from other people who already have one or both of these sets, apparently people in Australia playing these on Australian PS3 haven't had any problems either.

  • sorry but you might as well list the entire Amazon DVD catalogue, the AVP is at a low price point at the moment and is an alright deal, but its nothing out of the ordinary.

    • I don't get what you are saying. You are comparing it to other US sites. I'm comparing it to the price for each here in Australia and compared to those, it is a good deal. Perhaps it is nothing out of the ordinary, but the bottom line is that at this point in time, it is available at the low price.

      • The information on price trace is the history of Amazon prices over the last year. Yes it does compare to other stores, but the key info is the price history.

The price history shows the price for AVP is at a low point at the moment, but the prices for Sanctuary is actually relatively high.

Anyways my main point is that the this are pretty typical Amazon prices, and you could easily add another couple hundred DVD/BD to your list of "deals".

    • Also, any Bluray from the US will require a multiregion player, as mentioned. It's a minor inconvenience.

Hence buying from the UK is so much easier - same Bluray region.

      • +1

Actually, you'd be quite surprised how many blu-ray releases from US are Region free. I dare say about 90% of my blu-ray collection came from either US or Canada and i haven't had any problems watching any of them on my Australian PS3, which is definitely not Region Free.
Its always worth making sure something is region free before buying though, just to be on the safe side.

        • It's a lot easier to tell people that it's up to the company that sells the DVD whether they enforce region coding or not. I have weeds blu rays and series 1 to 3 work on my ps3, s4 doesn't. I don't see any deal here..
