Buy 30,000 - 49,000 Bonus 10,000 + 10% Off
Buy 50,000 - 74,000 Bonus 22,500 + 10% Off
Buy 75,000 - 99,000 Bonus 40,000 + 10% Off
Buy 100,000 - 149,000 Bonus 55,000 + 10% Off
Buy 150,000 Bonus 85,000 + 10% Off

    Haven't looked for about a decade - can you book AA rewards online from AU yet or still need to to call up?

      You can book online, for certain airlines. Been this way since about 2012.

      I used my AAmiles to book a QF flight Melbourne to Darwin in December last year. Paid minimal taxes and last minute was best option for me.

    Be aware of the very limited availability on business or first class ticket generally for AA. Would recommend to check availability prior to buying the tickets.

      Cheaper and easier to just buy an economy ticket.

      What madreece said, only really worth buying points to get value from J and F class tickets.

    There used to a restriction that you had to activate an account at least 2 weeks before to purchase the points.
