When I created another profile recently, I started getting many targeted offers. I think they are targeting mostly new users.

funny you mention it, i got banned as soon as i tried to make a 2nd account, well 2 days later when i tried to link up the same paypal account(probably why), wondering how all you folks get away with several.
Pretty sure they jump on you if you attempt that with the same ip, so do it at work or a friends? Just dont forget and log in one when you meant the other or they will instantly link you.
You must be doing something wrong. eBay allows multiple accounts.
Users may have multiple accounts on eBay. We understand that there are various reasons why someone would choose to have more than one account.

well thats interesting, all i did was create new account then linked existing paypal, no purchase nothing was done on the new one.

Along with the eBay tax is sellers and exuberent fee's. eBay is as good as dead. Can't believe they don't offer loyal sellers and buyers these deals, they only reward those who seldom use eBay, and the bargain hunting 1% with multiple eBay accounts.
The closing of the GST loophole on Ebay fees would be adding like 1% to the price, hardly a huge impost that's going to kill them.

Not entirely sure how valid this gripe is given the last couple of months there's been almost constant 5/10% vouchers. Didn't used to be that way.

I've got 4 accounts, across 3 countries. Never seen a coupon on any. Only coupon offer I have received was via the post from my US eBay account. Well actually is registered under my dogs name! (dog got one before me). Ive tried enabling the "send copious amounts of spam to my email" link to see if it makes any difference. Currently.. No.
I got a phone call from ebay the other day.. And they sent a code to my ebay account for $20 off no minimum spend. Score! No idea why they gave me that.. All the asked was I having trouble searching for something. I couldn't remember because its a new account I made to see if I would start getting targeted offers.. But I've kind of made it and forgot about it. I keep using my old ebay account.
