Hi guys

Referrer gets 20 points for registering & confirming new account, and 10 points for purchases from referee.
They did for the dog tags so I'm assuming yes.
will they post from the United States to Australia for Free?
They ship from Hong Kong.
they post from hong kong not USA
Pretty soon it will be $22.99AUD
Love it!
Thanks OP - great find! ;)
The shipping to AU would kill any margins.
Actually, the shipping would probably be more than the cost of the item.
It would be interesting to hear from anyone who takes up the offer in AU.
Did a test and went all the way through to payment…final price was $22.99 with shipping included.
Now to find a good photo.
AFAIK Artscow print in Asia so it doesn't really cost them any extra to sent to Australia over the USA.
got 2 earlier this week when i got the email. With 40% off, Big W is A$53 each. Great deal. Wonder how the quality would be? Never ordered canvases before.
The Big W does not also state it is "stretched canvas", just says "canvas prints" - does that mean no frame?
I think they both come with frames…just different wording.
Let us know what the quality is like when you get them…although the expiry is 18-10-10 so you might not get them before the deal expires.
anything i've ordered from these guys have come out with really good quality!
I've only ordered the dog tags from them and they were great.
Won't neg but not a good deal in my view. Look at http://www.victoryprinting.com.au - they've had few specials on ozbargain in last few months, their current price for up to 50x70 (eg. 20"x28" ) is $22 for canvas and $15 for photographic paper. I was very happy with their results and conduct (and prices of course) - why use overseas if there is better option locally ??
(BTW their shipping within AUS is $8 for up to 6 prints).
… OK sorry, have overlooked the fact the frame is included with artscow..
For those that don't know their maths 16 x 20 inches is 40.64 x 50.8 cm
I uploaded a photo… A photo taken with my SLR Camera at likee 15.1 MP, but when I drag it into the window canvas, why does the photo appear so blurry? Will they fix this when they do the canvas or what I see is what I get?
To test out the limit of your photo, enlarge your photo until a yellow "!" appears - this signals that the quality is going to be compromised. If you do not see the yellow "!" it's shouldn't be blurry on the final product.
The other trick I like to do is to add a 1" border around my original photo in photoshop because the canvas is folded and you loose about an inch off your original. I normally add the border either as a black border, a white border or use clone to extend my edges.
Good pro tip. Thanks!
Cool, I guess 15.1 MP shouldn't be a problem lol. First time buying a canvas so I do sound pretty noob!
Do you mean enlarge photo on the artscow website? I can't find how to do that… I'm on the collage designer screen, and there are no options to enlarge, just zoom x4 (which I assume does not affect the final picture result).
I've ordered canvases from BigW (12x18) and Artscow(11x14) before. This is my summary :-)
BigW - wooden frame was 1 in thick, feels like solid timber. Canvas is pretty smooth and consistent texture. Colour true to picture supplied. String attachment for hanging. I think I bought one for $40 on sale, pickup local store.
Artscow - wooden frame was 0.5 in thick, fairly flimsy rectangle. Canvas is smooth but texturing was not parallel. Not noticeable unless you go up close. Colour true to picture supplied. Hook and nail attachment for hanging. $15 on sale I think, postage inclusive.
Overall, I thought Artscow was fun, cheap and make good gifts. It does not feel particularly strong - in fact, when I took it out of the parcel, I thought I had punctured it. I would buy from Artscow again, for canvas in my sunroom - tends to fade and this is cheap and looks good as replacements (and I can pretend to be really pro). I would also buy BigW ones as well for the living room, and for bigger pieces as the quality is very close to the one my wedding photographer charges ~$500 for lol. Both BigW and Artscow took between 3-4 weeks to arrive.
I took a photo of two of them on top of each other. The Artscow one is the one on the left.
Thanks for the reviews.
Hello and thankyou for the review :)
This is probably going to sound stupid, but I'm assuming we can't use copywritten images. Can we get in trouble for doing this or will it just go through? I'm considering getting a Glee canvas made if I can for my niece for Christmas.
I can't see it being a problem……I don't imagine they will check up on every pic that goes through their system :)
being in asia I would say it will be fine :-) good idea
how much is it usually?
$23.99 plus postage
And for those who have trouble following - here are the rules again
Stretched canvas prints look good
Stretched canvas pants do not look good

I just looked at your site, and it says 15/photo or 22/canvas, plus 8 postage?
That is more expensive than the deal posted.
How do I get it for $17 that you mention? !
sj2can - $17? I'm assuming that's not with postage or mounting included?
Comes with white border, ready for stretching.
from the victory site…..so no, not stretched
50x70cm / 70x50cm @ $17
70x100cm /100x70cm @ $30
100x140cm / 140cmx100cm @ $50
Any sizing can be done, no cropping necessary. We can help you organise mounting in your area too. Just send us an email!
Does anyone have a rough estimate of how much it costs to streatch a 50 x 70cm canvas in Brisbane area?
geez - by the time you make it that big, it would be pretty thin!!
I assume the one victoryprinting.com.au has doesnot include the wooden frame, it will be hard to stretch by myself…esepcially finding a right size of frame…sign
I want to do some 100x32cm ones
@ frozenkuku
You take it to your local framemaker - they will make the frame and stretch it for you.
around how much??
i don't think adelaide will be cheap
they rip-off everything here
Just got mine in the mail. Looks awesome!
Great price, however, will they post from the United States to Australia for Free?
