    on full priced items.

    Deal breaker right there.

    • +4

Book the cheapest parking available (less than $10).

Choose your $50 or less full priced item (shorts, shirts etc) with free shipping.

      • +2

Yep, awesome deal because you can get some parking for $5 around the nation and it doesn't have to be on shoes.

        • -7

Better discounts are available on the new balance website all the time… They often apply to 'full priced' items, unlike this deal…

        • +10

          @jv:

You can't get $50 worth of stuff for $5 Delivered ever though.

        • +3

          @doweyy:

          Hmmm… you have a point… didn't consider that… I must be getting old…

        • @jv:

But, is there any deals ;)

        • @Cheap Charlie:

          is there any deals

I see you've been reading your new ebook Cheap Charlie…

        • @jv:
I see you have been using your new calculator JV…

        • @Cheap Charlie:

It won't work on my iPhone.

  • I've gone to look at booking a spot and the earliest date it will allow bookings for is 23/9/17. It won't allow August bookings. Does anyone else have this problem?

    • Nope, I can book 340 LATROBE STREET CAR PARK for the 17th of August. Maybe try a different car park?

  • -1

Combine with AMEX Mid year offer @ New Balance

    • Linky to deal?

        • +4

It says the voucher can only be used only on the new balance website and the AMEX deal is in-store only.

        • Should get my Amex Explorer in a few days, i shall look forward to such deals in the future. As for now, i must cry over lost savings :( Thanks for the link :)

        • +1

@ttwaite: last year was the best with the Harvey Norman and dinning offers. Took Mrs for fancy dinner paid $22 for $100 meal and got my iPhone 7 plus 128gb for only $1200 from HN. Winning. Best part about amex deals is you still pay as normal and cashback comes within few days.

  • +1

Any idea whether its booking for those specific dates at any time, or whether you can book for any date at that specific time?

  • +1

Can be book today for those dates or must we also wait to book via secure a spot from the 16th? Bit unclear we we can book ahead of time but in that time frame outlined.

  • +5

Is it just me or the NB website filled with the ugliest overpriced shit ever?

  • i've never booked before.

  • +2

So it looks like I can expect not to be able to find any cheap parking between 16/08/17 and 31/08/17 despite the carparks being completely empty…

    • +1

      It's the ozbargain way :)

  • booked for $2, what a steal

    • Where did you book?

      • 37 Market Street Car Park wollongong

        • Ah, Wollongong. No wonder :P

    • Did you end up getting a voucher?

      • I don't think anyone has, thought they were out earliest tmr

  • +1

Wait so, can we book now for a date between the 16th and 30th of August? Or do we have to wait until the 16th of August to make the booking? Ambiguous wording..

    • Op set the deal to start in 5 days so I presume we need to make booking within the time period.

  • +1

The wording is vague. It is not clear whether the booking has to be between 16 and 30 August or it has to made between 16 and 30 August.

Can someone confirm whether the booking needs to be made via https://au.secure-a-spot.com?

  • +1

Hmm Just read in the terms

Offer available to both Australian customers only. SO who are both of their Australian customers and why do they get the bonus

    edit crap typing

  • +6

I have called up and spoken to their office staff. I was been informed that as long as the booking date falls within the promotional period the voucher will be sent.
There is no need to wait till the 16th to make the booking. Book now guys!

  • +7

If booking in NSW, use "NRMA17" to get a further 30% off your booking.

    • +1

      doesnt apply to every location

    • Great tip. Should be added to OP!

  • Do there's no need to use the booking? Will they charge you card?

  • Can this be stacked with first free weekend/early bird promotion as well for new users?

  • +2

Hopefully the voucher has no minimum spend requirement

  • Offer available to both Australian customers only.

I thought there was only one type of Australian - i.e. Australian

  • Excellent deal - provided they honour all bookings.

  • Has anyone booked yet?

  • i booked a cheapo booking for the 16th, shall see how it goes, could always book again if issues.

  • Just registered with club secure but didn't get any confirmation email. Hmmmm.. Is it just how it works?

    • you get a confirmation from [email protected]
might go to your spam folder.

      • Yeah, that was the first thing I checked. So far there is still nothing. Maybe it's being overwhelmed.

Made a booking in Wollongong for $2.50, got this banner image in the confirmation email:

    • +1

Post when you get the code - I booked ahead of time, but haven't received anything about it. If it doesn't come through I will book again.

  • anyone get their codes?

  • Made a booking in Wollongong for $2.00. Choose a weekend ;)

    • +1

Mate what are you doing!!!!! RIP 30 cent :(

Here is my booking, $1 + $1 booking fee -$.30 using code NRMA17

37 Market Street Car Park - 37 Market Street

Weekend Parking - $1.70 (includes $1.00 booking fee). GST $0.15

For those wanting to know, my confirmation also had this image at the bottom http://imgur.com/a/RvVLB

      • It's okay, aren't we all cancelling our bookings after we receive the voucher anyway?

        • +2

Nah that's too scum for me, they deserve their $1.70

        • @ttwaite:

Another way of looking at it is making the spot available for actual users instead of hogging parking spots. Plus, they can sell the parking spot again.

  • any update from anyone?

    • I haven't received anything about the New Balance offer yet but I did receive an email from Team Club Secure offering me 20% off next time I use Secure-a-Spot…Have checked my Junk folders too and no dice on the NB email yet

      • Got the same, was 5 days after my early booking. Wondering if bookings within promotion period will get NB voucher instead. Booked another on 16th, will wait and see

  • booked on the 11th and did not receive anything about the New balance offer so i cancelled it last night, i booked again today got a confirmation email and also a banner about the New balance offer now just waiting for the email :)

  • +2

Got my code today for a rebooking that I did on 16th. So bookings made prior to the date are probably invalid. Will check out new balance website soon, but by the looks of it there is no minimum

    • Doesn't seem to include free shipping (?)

      • Use "CARTOFFER01" for free shipping alongside your voucher :)

        • Ah that works! Note it doesn't stack with 40% deal that's been recently posted (ANZ40) or any other % off codes

          "CARTOFFER01" works though!

        • @NitroNinja:

          Awesome :)

Just a question, did you actually attend your booking, or just booked it and waited for the voucher?

        • @doweyy:

waited for the voucher, only booked a 15-30min one in the evening for $2-$2.5, so hopefully it didn't affect people in wollongong too much!

        • @NitroNinja:

Awesome news :) I'm going to book my 1 hour, $1.70 booking from woollongong from all the way up here in Bris and wait for my voucher :)

        • @NitroNinja:

So the booking date/time has passed already? I booked for 29th and still haven't received the voucher. Hmm.

        • @ronnknee: When did you book? And yes, I believe I booked for the 16th on the 16th.

        • @NitroNinja:

I booked on the 16th for 29th. Okay maybe it waits for the actual booking date/time to pass.

        • @ronnknee: Perhaps. Booked another today, for tomorrow, will see.

For anyone wondering, book as many times as you want.

        • @NitroNinja: Does the voucher have a minimum spend?

        • @NitroNinja: Great thank you i will update the post

  • what I find interesting about this promotion is the T&C are so sparse, just the 5 dot points and covers more the use of the voucher.

  • +1

Received my code and placed an order :) Hopefully the delivery comes through. If successful, I'll book another bay and get the other NB stuff I wanted. Thanks OP!

(Side note; I don't think the person who wrote this promo did the best job at proof reading. First with the ambiguous booking/start date and now this:
"Get into Active August with Secure Parking and New Balance.
Book parking online with Secure-a-Spot in August*
Get a $50 promo code every time park!
Got more than 1 code? Share!")

    Still, awesome deal :D

    • Did you get your code after your parking elapsed? I have a couple booked for today and tomorrow, so I'm expecting my codes in not too long.

      • I booked for Friday and got the code on the same day (made booking on Wednesday)

  • Did anyone else receive their voucher for New Balance yet?

    • I booked for Friday night and received confirmation. I suspect that they may not process on the weekends. It dies t look completely automated.

  • Which email address has been used to send codes?

  • Booked on the 18th for the 19th at Wollongong.

    No voucher received.

    Did anyone get theirs?

  • Booked on 11 th for 16th didnt recieve code so rebooked on 16 th still no code

  • Booked on 16th for 19th and received code on 18th.

  • No chance of using two vouchers together? I swear the only thing under $50 on NB is a drink bottle or a pair of socks. Everything else is majorly overpriced.

    • All majorly over priced but seeing as it is essentially free, a $40 exercise shirt doesn't seem that bad.

      • What is really different from the ones Kmart are selling (at Broadway) for $1? Costs you about $10 for a park? Cost Benefit Analysis - no voucher involved at Kmart.

        • costs $2 for a park, book one at wollongong. Plenty of stuff under $50. Shorts are great, most comfy in my opinion when compared to other brands such as adidas and nike. Haven't bought shirts yet, but I agree, they are probably similar to kmart. But for $2, its a steal. New Balance is reputable, brand is nice, quality is good. Cost benefit analysis - worth it.

        • @NitroNinja: $2 for a pair of shorts, who knows there might even be enough left on he gift card to buy some socks with them as well :D
I'll see if I can book a park at Wollongong for $2!

        • They will be better quality than the Kmart gear - they may look and feel the same but the cheaper sublimated materials in the Kmart stuff will make you hotter quicker than higher quality more breathable clothing.

        • @pmathieson: I got a spot for $2 at Woolongong - $1 booking fee :(
Let's see when my voucher comes.
If I make 2 bookings I get 2 codes yeah? And can I use them both in the one transaction?

        • @pennypincher98: Not sure about using more than one - the comments above appear to indicate that you will get two codes. I used two seperate email addresses to be sure.

THat said, I haven't received any of my codes yet.

        • @pmathieson: I've booked it for Saturday and if I don't get them by Friday I'm cancelling lol

    • Yes everything is too expensive

  • It looks to me like they have applied a 10% discount site On the NB website. The voucher is only valid on full price items.

    • Lucky the code is valid for a few months

  • +2

Just received a second voucher for parking booked on 18th, for the 19th. Can confirm they don't stack so max 1x $50 off per order @people who commented above

    • Got my voucher as well :) Rebooking in Woolongong again, thanks!

  • received my first voucher on my wife's booking, still waiting on mine.

  • Just got my first voucher. booked on the 18th for the 19th
