    • +2

They do seem to include chocolate hobnobs in the site catalogue …

  • Thanks for the head up! Will stock up soon…the only biscuit my old man like..

  • Is the dark choc included? Thanks

    • +3

It shows milk chocolate varieties are included.

  • +1

i have been waiting for a long time for these to come back. :)

  • The GF loves this….the name puts me off though

    • my GF thinks digestives are a health food.. :/

      • -2

        is willys nick digestives

      • Yeah I assumed as much, or at least pretending to be healthy, like Horlicks or Ovaltene etc.
The name is not appetising to me at all. Bizarre.

        • +1

Most sugar laden food pretends to be healthy.

  • +2

The lowest price I have seen for ages.

  • +3

Its funny what PASSES as a bargain these days.

    • -1

The golden days are gone. OzBargain is like digital junk-mail now, with the occasional 'real' bargain.

        Thanks for your contribution /s

        • +1

Yep. It's a shame some choose to crap on other's work intead of contributing themselves.

      • +1

I assure you $1.85 is a superb price for fresh stock compared to $4.40 today at Coles and $5.09 at IGA.

  • +1

This product is clearly FALSE advertising!!. Packaging details says and I quoted "THE INGREDIENTS IN THIS BISCUIT DO NOT CONTAIN ANY SUBSTANCE THAT ASSIST DIGESTION.". WTF?!?!

    • lul, but why it does taste so good though? correct me if I am delusional?

      • Because you're straight up ingesting sugar, which tastes pretty good usually?

    • +3

That disclaimer on the package is precisely so they don't get sued for false advertising, even though it's intentionally duplicitous. Nobody really thinks eating some highly processed grains mixed with a ton of sugar could be healthy and/or good for digestion though, surely..

  • +3

Aw yus, now this is the kinda bargain I like to see. And taste. And digest.

  • +1

Apparently these are the closest things to Graham crackers.

I wonder if marshmallows are also on sale

    • +1

      Nothing like any crackers whatsoever.

  • +1

Good price but Iv got about 6 months of sawdust wheetbix rebel biscuits to go through first

How can this get so many upvotes? Ozbargain is wasting front page space on a packet of cookies. Usually also you can find a Xaiomi security camera that is $0.02 cheaper than last weeks, and it gets massive upvotes. Thats not really a bargain! What are you saving,,,, $1.85 on these biscuits. Thats something to get excited about? Pathetic.

    • +2

These are $5.09 at my local IGA and recently $4.40 at Coles.

    • +3

To be fair they are the cheapest they have been for a while. $2.20 at Coles last month and commonly $3.50 at WW.

Grocery items always get big hits when they are even a buck off their normal price. I don't see the big deal in it either. Then again, I find it bizarre to line up at fuel stations to save $2.

    • +4

People want different things to you. This must be an amazing revelation!

    • +2

How can this get so many upvotes?

Isn't it great? Obviously many consider it a deal.

Ozbargain is wasting front page space on a packet of cookies.

      And?

you can find a Xaiomi security camera that is $0.02 cheaper than last weeks

Great, more people get to see it and buy it!

      Pathetic.

Your comment or the deal? Block and move on. It's not all about you.

      • -2

My point is that the Ozb front page would be better if (1) it had more variety (not the same items listed again and again, when there is a small increase in savings - eg Xaiomi security camera). And (2) if the items had bigger absolute savings. What I mean by point 2 is that, while there is a large % savings on the biscuits, you're not really going to make a dent in your household budget by saving $2. A better deal would be, say a Samsung tablet, or a trampoline with $50 discount - maybe its only a 15% savings, but on an absolute basis, it is going to make more of a difference to your life, and therefore is a more exciting bargain.

My original comment was in a snippy tone for sure, but the ideas was to try to improve the Ozb experience.

  • +3

    Great biscuits, great price.

  • +2

Are these the ones that have one side coated in chocolate?
If so, I remember these from being a kid, but I mean, in the world of biscuits aren't they just a drop in the ocean? ..Pretty shocked how many OZB users seem to love these, seen these on the front-page more than any other 'snack' by far.

  • I thought these are grandma biscuits

  • They seem to have taken the Choc Caramel variety out of stock.

    • +1

Damn - Stocked up on the Caramel when IGA had the 99 cent sale but now down to the last box

      • I never saw that deal, or I would have got involved.

      • How quickly have you eaten them?

        • +1

Too fast. I tried to savour slowly - but I could not resist :-)

        • @freesteakknives: Totally happens, it's very difficult :P

  • +1

Thanks OP I scored 11 packs

  • +1

What is up with the new packaging?

Is it me or is there Less biscuits in the new packaging?
