Would've been a catchier name if the 'f' was capitalised. For example, "dude, I scored some steroids from this guy at Failed World Gym".
The $299 yearly membership deal was a good deal but don't think I've seen it offered for a while now.
Yeah, was waiting for this to come back, they usually do it in June/July, but never did.
Comments about the gym
The good
Good equipment and lots of space not like some other gyms where you are constantly bumping into people. The extra space is nice
The bad
The lighting it feels a bit dark up the back of the gym.
Also it has kickboxing ring and equipment this could be a plus for you but I found it annoying.

Thomastown has a well equipped fight sport gym. They have a cage/Octagon!! Full size boxing ring, 8 or 10 heavy bags, those target sets that Bas Rutten sprukes, about 5 of those. No floor to ceiling. no speedballs but has provision for these if you bring your own - if they fix the ball swing hardware .
Lots of mat space for a roll or stretching. and lots of floor space. Everyone who comes to the weights gym must walk through this space - not ideal. No sprung floor space for skipping - skip in the ring.
My 2Cw is this is a bargain if you live close by or if you want a serious gym to get 'big for the beach', and when at the beach, stopping bullies kicking sand in your face.
Still cheaper to get 12 month upfront at $399. Admin is one off $10 and quarterly fee is $15. That makes it $434 for the year but payments are just a bit spread out.
Remove the *admin and quarterly fees apply and I'll bite.
Does anyone know if this a 12 month minimum term?
No. There is a diff rate for 12month lock in which is cheaper. This is only applicable for those casual visitors (per week basis)
