Cannot recommend these enough. As well as the amazing ice packs.

Had my one for about 4 years now and the seals, latches and ice packs are still going strong.
We keep stuff cold in ours for multiple days and the ice packs are great as you soak them, freeze them and then they stay frozen and eventually cold for days when packed in one of these ice boxes.
Love how we don't have crap soaked in water from melted ice. Those days are long gone.

Haven't done it, but apparently you can warm the ice packs and use them to stay warm or keep things worm too.

Definitely look into this stuff if you go camping or like us, buy meat and frozen stuff when shopping over an hour away (yes, we are in the bush).

No I don't work for them. Just love the product and can't recommend it enough.

  • Agreed

Mine is over 7 years old

The trick is to pre-cool the esky for a few days before use

I use 3 x 2l juice bottles with 80% water filled in them and rotate for a few days or 1/2 slab of 24 bottles frozen bottled water

    THEN

it will hold ice for about 4 days in the middle of Vic Summer! That is, hold ice not just stay cold

I also a have waeco fibreglass job (probably 12 years old), and it is on par

Most of the time now, I don't even bother taking the Waeco refrigerated

If you add certain amount of salt into water, the ice point of saline water would much more below the zero degree celsius.

  • Should of said mine is a classic model.

The trick in buying these is to watch them on eBay during the colder months. Set a low bid and wait. If you're not in a rush you can pick one up at a bargain. I got my 100L for under $100 two years ago after waiting for about two weeks. I just had a look at completed listings and someone just picked up a 60L for $76. Be patient and buy now before the heat. Great Ice boxes.

    • Until they cancel your bid because your price isn't high enough. they are truly dodgy on eBay. you can try their auctions but be prepared to be disappointed.

    • They must have changed and got sick of being caught with some cheap bids. The 60L for $76 dollars was today though.

      • Yep…. fake no Reserve auctions

  • I have 3 of these cooler boxes 12L 40L and 80L, they are best ever cooler box which I have used.

The size of the Esky is outer measurements so if you buy a 100 liter your internal size will be about 85L.

  • Are there any racks/ dividers for the classic models? These look like they perform really well, but could use something on the inside to improve functionality.
