In China, this phone can be bought for like $200 with genuine parts.
If you know someone in China, ask them to send it to you by mail. They are no different to the phones you buy here at 300% the price. Parts are from same factory.
I'd be dubious about the touch id and the validity of the IMEI in that circumstance… interesting idea though
Riiiiight, more like knock off.
What do you know?
The parts are from the same factory. Your iphones are not made in a fancy facility in the US
Optus offer the 64GB iphone SE for $40/month. Combine that with 25% family and friends offer, and you pay $30/month for 24 months = $720 (unlimited calls).
only 32 or 128 now
darn. I was too late
Got mine from bigw for 249 although 32gb but totally worth it
Sell it imo. Is your current phone worse than an iphone se?
where is this deal?
It was only a very small selection of stores with very limited stock. I'd be surprised if they had more than 100 for sale at that price nation wide. I doubt a deal like that would come by again anytime soon.
Lucky you ozlab, was it locked to optus or unlocked?
I got the same phone from Big W - was unlocked form the getgo. Slipped a Telstra SIM in and away I went.
Um… How is this a deal?
Most Ozbargainers identify Apple with ripoff! And for very reasons too.
It's a good price for Australian stock 64GB version. Please let me know if you can find it cheaper, I'm looking to buy one.
It has been cheaper previously at Mobileciti eBay with the discount codes last month.
Yes there are currently some good deals on the 32GB version, but I'm after at least 64GB.
Thanks crumbo85, an unlocked 32gb Iphone SE for 249, was a steal.
Goes to show how much of a steal the $249 32gb was.
