          Never mind, found it buried through several links:

          "to send you marketing and promotional messages and other information that may be of interest to you, including information sent by, or on behalf of, our business partners that we think you may find interesting"

          And:

          "We and/or our carefully selected business partners may send you direct marketing communications and information about our services".

          So you'll basically onsell people's information to advertisers and spammers.

          Not worth the lousy $5.

          @Scab: We don't sell people's information. First of all, we are mail forwarder, and the customer information needs to be passed onto couriers for delivery purpose. Secondly, we will push good deals to our users as well. That's why our lawyer drafted the T&C like that.

          The people who have the needs of our service will definitely find this is a good offer. Thanks for your time and attention.

          There's obviously a financial benefit for you, as I said, not worth it for $5.

          @Scab: The email marketing tool we use has an "unsubscribe" option. We won't send emails to users who don't want to receive it.

          Also, for the users who are looking for great deals, I believe the deals we push are a benefit for them, too.

          From you've have said, I don't think you need any mail forwarding service. In that case, i totally agree with you that it's not worth signing for something you don't need at all just for $5.

    Used these guys for a few packages, was $20 cheaper than ShipItTo who I normally went through.
    Although they were $10 more than shopmate
