Looks like a good price for the monitor (not good as $299 but still fair).

But MSY has had it cheaper at $299 before from this post earlier in the year
That wasn't a normal deal though.
This is a poor effort of a post
The msy's page is not updated because the deal starts tomorrow
Could have posted the link mate
http://edm.msy.com.au/24072017/online/aac.htmlI tried but did not work
Im wanting a monitor to multitask mainly so for uni and stuff
Would this suite or should I splash out an extra 200 and go for a 27 inch 4k
I have a 1070 so definitely can't game in 4k till the next nvidia lineup
Ultra wide is the go for multitasking documents
Is it better two have two monitors or one ultrawide?
What about two Ultra wide?
Then you would need a larger desk, then a larger room and therefore a larger house. I can't afford a larger house.
I prefer one ultrawide to my old dual monitor setup - better for gaming and 90% as good for productivity.
That said, I would try and get the higher res ultrawide (3440x1440) as it's much better for that screen size. I have an AOC which is on the cheaper end and very nice really.
Just note that it's a lot more intensive for gaming - I am happy with my GTX 1070, my older card struggled with a lot of AAA games.
What I have found is that with the ultrawide is that you can legit have 3 documents open side by side, but with 16:9 screens they don't quite fit the 2 documents side by side. I now refuse to get any screen other than a media consumption screen as 16:9. It's either 3:2 or ultrawide. The 3:2 is superior for web browsing and laptops, and ultrawide is better for getting stuff done.
I love the my Chromebook Pixel LS plugged into an ultrawide.
yes, ultra wide is better for getting stuff done, u dont need to move your head to get a fix on three word documents and what not but it aint good for gaming, especially any action games TPS FPS, but it may be benefit for likes of RTS and MOBA as one see more crap happening on the edge :p
and for watching those wide screen movies. these ultra wide monitors are better :)
TP-Link Extender looks like a good unit, might grab a couple to resell on the field. Thanks OP!
I think this monitor can get 75hz with oc
Only with freesync so youll need an AMD card
for any one who want to use this sort of monitor on a MAC with latest OS, my advise is STAY WELL AWAY as the 10.12.X OS removed wide monitor support, I brought the 25 in version of the LG extra wide series a while back and hack it was not supported by my MAC running 10.12.3 then the HDMI port of the thing lost the ability to produce audio just three days later had me refund it back to MSY, oh yeah their track record not exactly good with that…
great monitor if it works, especially watching movies with less black thing lol.
the speakers aint too bad too..especially watching movies with less black thing lol.
Just watch non interracial "movies" and you won't feel inadequate.
Anyone have any experience with the TP-Link Archer C25 AC900 Wireless Dual Band Router thinking of using it as an access point upstairs to improve signal strength throughout the house?
Monitor details please??
