        you can do the $130 plan for $100, get the 25% off for adding another service and get a $200 eftpos card if you're porting from another telco, getting a new number or going from optus prepaid to post paid.

    I tried to do add a second service onto my prepaid account online but the final price was $ 130 - no discount applied! Is this deal has to be done manually at the store?

    I only have Optus cable. I tried to add new service but it shows final price 130 with 3p bucks discount per month. There's no information on getting $25 discount for existing customer available a new line.

    I'm with business postpaid account with multiple services.

    They also seems to jack up the price of the 256gb iphone 7 plus to $138 before discount.

    It's getting close to where you can just sell the 7plus for $$$$ and just use the sim for data. 40gb for $75 not quite the ratio data sims are at now days but getting closer

      40GB data is with the leasing phone option, so not advisable to sell the phone.

    FYi, im pretty sure the way the discounted 25% works is

    $130 * .75 = $97.50 then you minus $30, net price $67.50

    the reason is the actual plan is $130, and you get a $30 discount as long as your on the plan

    with regards to the Iphone 128Gb and 256Gb pricing, there is an error on the front page, the 128 is $3 and the 256 is $8

        You could possibly get a cheap SIMO or mobile broadband (if it's still valid) then get your two existing services. Might work out the same price

    Just added the $75 samsung 8 plan to my existing plan at my nearby optus store (very helpful tbh). They knew of the offer but hadn't actually signed anyone up to it yet. One issue to keep in mind for anyone using their own plan to attach, is that you won't be able to move your old number across to this new plan.

        I had 2 $35 sim only plans. Cancelled one, to get this… still got charged a cancellation fee though which to me seems really counter intuitive as the fee was around $48 which may have turned me away from committing to a much higher contract value as an alternative.

      I was told by multiple operators that it is only 25% off the plan, and not 25% off the $8 extra for the phone.

      What were you told would be your final fee?
      I was told $100 - $25 = $75, then + $8 = $83 per month.

        That's generally the case. Discounts do not include hardware.

      I've signed the same plan you did, but through the online chat. The Contract I've been sent by email still shows full price !!! Doesn't even show the $100/month, but still $130/month. and no 25%
      The emailed contract says the TOTAL minimum cost over contract term is $3312 . But the Rep chat says $75 per month !! (I have all the Transcripts for the chat I had).
      Called them back few times and they all said discount will appears from second bill.

      My question for you is: what's your contract says ? does it mention any discount ?

        Don't panic, most of the time it doesn't get implemented until the second month. And you'll get it credited back if they charge you the full amount

    Hey op you can stack these at Harvey Norman with the $200 eftpos card as well

    So for eg. The $130 plan is now $100, if you're adding it to an existing account you get a further 25% off making it $75 (only applicable for personal accounts not business) then if the added service is from another telco, you're getting a new number or you're going from prepaid to postpaid then you're eligible for the $200 eftpos card from harvey Norman. Eftpos card offer ends on the 28th.
