Shenmue or Sleeping Dogs, maybe.
Mostly it's its own thing though. It's a small but detailed open world brawler, where you alternate between two protagonists dealing with some serious Yakuza issues in the main story but then also the most outlandish, eccentric and hilarious sub-stories, while taking time out to dine at restaurants or play arcade games.
It's a good time to pick it up, too. Yakuza Kiwami, the PS4 remake of the first Yakuza game, will be out at the end of August.
