Your first link has "Medium to Heavy signs of scratching, scuffing, drop marks, or dings. This item has seen better days." in the description.

Your second link indicates no touch ID sensor. This would indicate a non-Apple repair centre? These come from China whereas the OP has Sydney office?

Possibly this is the price difference? I would not mind getting a 16GB one, but sort of worried about any repair quality.

        • Hi there,

With purchases 3+ phones our prices are negotiable.

        • +1

Thanks, appreciate the reply. I was not aware that these had dropped that much (though still no touch ID sensor on those).

      • Our phones are buy back stock from USA for Australian local market. This is our first advertisement regarding Iphone sales, should you

Then you'd do well to read the New Merchant FAQ and the Deal Posting Guidelines.

Protip - try to be the cheapest, otherwise expect to be called out & downvoted.

    • Ebay ones are without finger print (Touch ID) sensor. Just for your ref.

How come it says "Newly arrived refurbished U.S. Iphone" but then it says "Unlocked Local Australian Stock"?

    Isn't that 2 different things?

    • -2

The Stock is imported from the USA as opposed to China. All stock is readily available in Australia.

    • +4

Yes, "Australian Stock" wrongly implies it is the Australian model, which this is not. Changed it.

  • It isn't clear from your page whether or not you get a charger with this, or whether you regard that as an " accessory". Can you confirm these come with chargers?

    • Refurbished Stock does not come with chargers or other accessories, but is available for purchase separately.

      • +1

You are ticking quite a lot of boxes here mate. May I refer your "Australian" company to the Australian requirement for items to be fit for purpose.
        A phone without a proprietory charger isn't.

        • These are buyback stock straight from the U.S.A and is being sold as refurbished items therefore phone chargers and earphones are not included.

        • +1

@Ajay55: Without a charger, they are unfit for purpose. You are not selling "replacement" phones or "parts", you are selling a mobile phone. You may have a policy that "Buyback stock" carries exemptions from providing one, but, being Australian as you are, you would or should realise that "Regulation" trumps "Company policy" every time.

Guys, this seems pretty dodgy. The phone is clearly grey import from U.S however they are providing a tax invoice and charging you GST.

If you have any issues I doubt Apple Australia will touch this phone

    • +1

Don't they have to supply an invoice and pay GST no matter where it comes from?

    • Our refurbished phones are backed by a 3 month warranty, we sell from a registered business and our stock is 100% genuine, please feel free to
contact us should you have any concerns.

      • +1

Can you please provide the ABN?

        • Yes, sure its ABN 46 158 826 414. Should you have any other queries please free to contact us.

    • All Iphones in Australia are imported as they are not manufactured here, These are not grey imports but rather U.S.A. stock for Australian Market and therefore advertised as such. We also offer 3 month warranty for your peace of mind on these phones.

"U.S.A. stock for Australian Market "
        Lol rightio…

    "Buy from a trusted seller!"
No mate, you don't get to decide. From what I've seen of you so far, I disagree.

    • We are a Sydney based company starting out and this is my first advert here, Sorry that you have that opinion of us however we know we supply genuine stock at a more then competitive price. You are most welcome to come visit us if you have any reservations about our stock. Re: Charger, it is the genuine Apple charger available for purchase separately. Clearly stated so I hope that helps. Cheers

Where do you keep the used toothbrushes and other peoples undies?
A phone is an extremely personal item. IMHO very old used phones full of other people spit and sweat are pretty gross.
Buying an old but overpriced used iPhone 6 seems kinda desperate. Better to save up for a new model or buy something more basic (but new)
These guys seem pretty iffy in the reliability dept should you need warranty support. I guess being US stock of unknown heritage you will be quietly asked to leave the genius bar.

  • +2

Of course Apple wouldn't touch these iPhones they are probably almost 3yrs old and US stock!!!!

  • Website glitchy. Can't add items to cart
    Prices ordinary
    Refurbish procedure not mentioned
    Lied about being "Australian stock"
    ABN not mentioned

This business venture is heading towards bankruptcy
