Had bad experience purchasing from them a few years back.
Back then they dared to claim that they'll give full refund if you're not satisfied with their products.I purchased a digital frame, only to find the quality dodgy as hell, as if I just bought it from hot dollars shop, so I asked for a refund. When they asked me why, I explained to them how the quality isn't up to my expectations (they actually touched up the photos in their product gallery pretty well). They replied to me with an attitude of "We pride ourselves in selling good quality products, the frame quality is fine to me, I don't see what your problem is". After further dispute, they would only give me back a percentage of the frame value. Needless to say I became more careful.
Over the years, I monitored if they improved the quality of their products.
They did, but up to this point, they're still mediocre at best.
They don't offer bleeding edge technology in their products.
They're only cheap if you compare them with buying from Harvey Norman (without proper haggling).
They're just OK at this moment, IMHO.This being in OzBargain where we regularly get good-great deals, means no vote from me.
it's $99 + $16.90 for shipping.
From their specs page:
This Kogan digital photo frames use the latest image processors, video chips and software. Our photo frame is the only one that:
• Has 1GB built in memory
• Plays mp3 music while a slide show is playing
• Plays high definition video files downloaded from the internet
• Has calendar, clock and alarm functions
• Display an image that is up to 16 megapixel
• Split Screen picture function
I dont know where they're getting their information from but that's pretty much standard for all DPF these days.. and has been for quite a while.
I sell 20" digital photo frames that do all those things and sold 12" DPF last Christmas that had all that too.
