Yeah, most roller door openers lights are just there to help use the buttons on the opener if needed. Tilt/Sectional openers have much better lighting options.
Tilt doors?
For a Tilt door I would recommend the Guardian 628 which is currently $254.15 with coupon.
If you are wanting to stick with the merlin brand then the MT100EVO would be your best option at $330.65 with coupon.
Will this replace a steel line ol4 double garage
The OL4 is a sectional/tilt opener so you would need something like the Guardian 628. The 628 can directly replace the OL4 powerhead and rail.
I wouldn't exactly call the LEDs ultrabright, I have the same garage door opener for a single door garage here at work it barely lights up the back of my car in complete darkness. It is however, a nice silent unit.
