      • I prefer the G6 design to the S8.
The S8 would be much more appealing without the curved edges.

        • In my opinion, I think the S8 looks sexier

        • @Dealinator: pain in the ass to use though. Palm rejection can be a mixed bag on it.

      • processor 821 vs 835

      • s8 has faster more recent processor.

        • Who really buys a phone for the processor anymore, there all fast for everyday use

        • @Dealinator: Then why buy a new phone?

        • @wxyz234: New features, like water proof, better camera, more ram, (if your old phone is broken), wireless charging , better display tech.

        • -1

          @Dealinator:

You'll change your mind when they update Android and it runs slow.

      • Snapdragon 821 vs 835

    • Certainly.

  • -2

    Ok delete lol

  • +1

Damn, three days too late to use it on something I won earlier in the week. Looks like I'll have to buy something else ;)

  • Hump Month

Have you been humping this month, Tightarse?

  • Love you,Tightarse:)

  • Thanks TA - good find!

  • Damn. Just used 10% an hour ago…..

  • When will this finish

    • Please read the OP. eBay can withdraw the offer at any time.

      • I hope not. I don't have my pay Pal connected to my phone, and I forgot its password, so I gotta wait till tonight to get it.

  • Any Bose qc35 going cheap? Thanks tightarse

Is this legal/ethical to do? Someone is selling some speakers on Gumtree, can I ask him to list it on eBay so I can buy it using the 15% off?

    • +2

Are you willing to pay extra for the eBay fees?

That's 9-13%, almost wipes out the discount.

      • Thanks, didn't think of that. Guessing by the negs, I guess it's not! :)

        • +3

No idea why anyone negged you, I wouldn't mind someone asking me that on GumTree but it would have to be worth it and something I want to sell quick.

Not only for the fees but the seller is also at more risk on eBay for claims.

I've actually done it the other way, people have asked me if I can do it for cheaper via eBay and I tell them to search GumTree for my ad and buy it there.

      • +1

Depends if they got the recent targeted 10 free listings offer or not. Still be 2.6%+30c Paypal fees though and possible issues with Paypal+pick up.

        • possible issues with Paypal+pick up

Any seller who accepts PayPal for pick up is asking for trouble, there is no Seller Protection.

    • He would have to pay fees.

    • why don't you just offer a better price on gumtree, he would still lose approx 12-15% in fees and paypal.

most gumtree users dont use ebay for the whole fee thing.

      • He had it advertised on Gumtree for $700 but got him down to $550 which was more than I was willing to pay being an OzBargainer. Asked him if he can list it on ebay for $550 so I can use the discount but forgot about the seller fees. Oh well.
