$1 Final Value Fees on Parts & Accessories on eBay

90

First time posting

Pay no more than $1 in Final Value Fees per listing in one Selected Category on up to 5 items you list and make available for purchase in a “Selected Category” during the Promotion Period (see exclusions below).
A “Selected Category” is either Heavy Machinery (177641) or Vehicle Parts & Accessories (131090).
Insertion Fees are the fees to list your item, and Final Value Fees are the selling fees charged on sale of an item, calculated as a percentage of your total sale price. The promotion does not apply to fees for optional features or upgrades or any other fees that may be applicable. Learn more about eBay fees.

  • last time I did that and sold it a few months later, I just received a bill from eBay for total value fee of $16 for an item sold for $90 + $70 postage.

    • So basically they charge 10% of the final sold value (sold value+postage)

  • Worked for me

Not if sold before 1st July

      • Should just be listed before then, no? At least when I had 10 no fee listings, it took one off each time you listed. Pretty sure the last couple finished after and only paid ebay postage. No fees.

  • Work for me on one of my accounts…..

Pretty sure I don't have any "Heavy Machinery" or "Vehicle Parts" though.

    • and if I/you list things that don't belong in that category, it makes buyer wonder if our listing is legit .. lose/lose :(

This is borderline useless. Too niche a category.

  • If I list the item during that time and it doesn't sell and is automatically relisted, will the promotion still count?
Also anyone want shocks for a focus st?

    • After it Automatically relists, the promotion no longer applies.

The only time I receive a targeted offer by eBay and its completely useless to me.

Are eBay taking the piss here? This category is ridiculous.

  • Time to offload some car parts.
Sure beats dealing with 'offers' from people on gumtree
