Domino's Thickshake Happy Hour 3-5pm, $2.95ea

250
136583

Last Dominos shake deal expired.

Saw them making one of these at my local dominos and was quite intrigued, couldn't cough up the $6 needed normally but for $3 I'll have a try.

This is for the standard Classic Choc Malt or Traditional Malted Vanilla. $1 extra for a sauce swirl and whipped cream.

Can confirm, for $3 it's a really good chocolate shake!

You're only as thick as your last thickshake.

GMOs ahoy. Ready for the downvotes.

84g of sugar = 20 teaspoons (1 teaspoon =~4.1g). Minimum 20% of the thickshake is sugar.

      • +4

For reference, that's 2x the amount of sugar you'll find in a 375mL can of Coke.

        • +4

and 72x the amount of protein!

        • +1

          that is just obscene..

    • +3

      Why the reference to GMO?

      • Because people should know.

        • +2

Know what? That GMO are demonstrably safe?

        • @BTRaynes:
          Keep thinking that.

        • @cheepwun:
Cheers for the advice Mike Adams.

        • @BTRaynes:
No probs. Have another thickshake for the road.

I think they should stick to pizzas.

I tried one at full price. Have had better. Wasn't made fresh. He just pulled it out of their freezer and was too damn thick. Had to let it melt for a few minutes.

Flavour was ordinary. Nothing that made me wanting more

You should already know at franchise stores like Dominos the quality varies widely.
Let us know which store your bad experience was from, so we can avoid!

      • +1

But even then quality varies from staff/time of day as well.

    • +1

When I saw someone buying one it was made fresh. You should let Dominos know you were unhappy wiht your experience though, they're pretty proactive about these sorts of stuff - they're pumping a lot of cash into advertising these so if the stores aren't making them properly that's a waste.

yeah, complain online, and you should get a refund or something.
I got a full refund for the 3 pizzas I ordered for pick-up that I had to wait 50 minutes for.

    • They're advertising it to be the best thickshake ever or your money back. You should ask for your money back

  • +1

Note that you have to go through online order then pick up lol.

    • +2

I just order from my phone when I'm nearby and give them a headstart on making the thing.

      • +2

They take the discount code number over the phone?

        • +6

I have a 5km wire that I connect to my phone that allows me to get the internet when I am out and about I also installed a web browser onto it so I can surf the net so I can make online orders without having to be home it's pretty neat actually.

        • Ok then….

        • @Stevo1078: Mind to share your tips and tricks for that wire & web browser?

        • +2

In case no sarcasm I use the app.

  • My feedbacks were never responded to by Domino's, let alone refund :(

  • Just tried the vanilla - nothing special, do not recommend

  • +1

Dunno why the hate, the couple of times I've had these they've been great!
Disappointing I can't get them anymore due to my new 9 to 5 job 😟

Thanks heaps! Wanted to buy one but as you said code expired

  • Where do you add the swirl? In the app I just see the thickshake $2.95?

    • It's another item on the menu.

      • Thank!

Can't get the voucher to work with the item - says it's $6.95.

Did try the shake by itself - choc tastes great! Well worth $3!

        • You're welcome!

I agree, for $3 it's almost a no brainer but the normal price is a bit iffy (then again who ever pays full price for dominos)
