2017 Hungry Jack’s Ice Hockey Classic

Hockey fans can witness two action-packed exhibition matches between the rival teams from USA and Canada. Both teams will be coached by experienced NHL players - Darryl Sittler and Dave ‘Tiger’ Williams. Sittler played in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Philadelphia Flyers and the Detroit Red Wings, while Team USA coach, Williams, played on five different NHL teams during his career. The 2017 Hungry Jack’s Ice Hockey Classic will also raise awareness and funds for the STOPCONCUSSIONS Foundation in association with Brain Injury Australia.

  • I saw this last year in Brisbane. Lots of fun!

    • Same except in Perth. Don't expect a serious match, just a seriously good time.

      I'm going to say that I found "The 2017 Hungry Jack’s Ice Hockey Classic will also raise awareness and funds for the STOPCONCUSSIONS Foundation in association with Brain Injury Australia." amusing. There's staged fights during the match where they take turns belting each other in the face.

    • i missed out last year and wanted to go this year. Doesn't look like they'll be coming to Brisbane though :(

  • I checked last years rosters and there were a few NHLers and solid pros and youngsters. Not a bad list considering.
