    I wasn't impressed with mine, got a lot of crackling sounds and the ocacasional loud crack, it hurt my head sometimes but most headphones do
    The mic picks up crazy amounts of treble.
    I bought it for $99 and returned it after about 6 months of use

    Good for $60

      Sounds like it was your headset. Got mine back when they were first released and never had any cracking at all through the speakers. Only complaint I have is the fake pleather on the ear pads starts peeling.

    EDIT: Are these actually 7.1? the Box doesn't say so, I think they have the description wrong.

    A heads up with these - get a USB extension cable for the wireless dongle. If you have the dongle plugged directly into the PS4 it will interfere with your wireless signal and you'll get dropouts.

    Also found it for $69 on the actual Target website.

    My flybuys points have managed to accumulate to $300+ worth, so was able to redeem $20. So out of pocket $49.

    THIS IS NOT A PC HEADSET

    I'm sure these are great on PS4 but for a PC one it's bare minimum, so frustratingly so I want to just call it absolute garbage. For no apparent reason, there's no software application to help manage your settings like the advertised virtual surround which apparently is only available in an app ONLY on the playstation store. That said, all the settings you can enable are all windows feature tick boxes which of course is garbage. Mute button is for the mic which is super troubling because that means you can't instantly mute sound without spamming the volume down button. BEEP BEEP BEEP. The stupid thing BEEPS BEEPS loudly like an old phone handset right in your ear and since there's no client, of course you can't turn that off. The beeps are probably stuck on max volume, it's not an indicator of your current volume. The volume can only be adjusted using the buttons on the headset, no finetuning allowed, the volume slider on your pc doesn't work cause of course the ps4 doesn't have such a feature. The mic is just a tiny hole on top on the cup where it meets the headband so it needs you to yell to get any kind of response since you are literally talking away from it. Worse still is all of the mic input and speaker input is completely ignored by the headset itself. Coming in too soft on your mic? Tough luck, boosting the mic doesn't do anything. And for dumb reasons, when mic is on, literally "ambient" sounds play like it's playing "ambient tunnel noises" from youtube in the background, + a constant soft ringing to tell you it's receiving mic input. Again, would be cool if I could turn that off. The amount of features this headset has and customization for a pc is the same as a headset from year 2000. Good luck finding a listing that indicates all these PC locked features, you'll only find fine print on the box that says so.
