wonder if there will a huge rush for a price increase now

    • +32

Yep, I just logged on to buy something and the price just jumped up 15%, so the deal is real…

      • +3

        Name and Shame

      • please dont make up something, you let many people down. yes it did happen in the past but i suspect not everytime.
was your post above kind of joke?

        • +4

1 item in my watch list went up by $217

        • @Bargin Boy: seems like we aren't the only ones that are awake

        • @Bargin Boy: if you add the items to your cart at the lower cost now and then pay when the code is active I wonder if that works.

        • @singingwolf: The price in my watch is higher now.
Live pricing is one of the problems with Ebay.

Had a similar issue last year buying from US with the AU changing daily and Ebay trying to deny a minimum spend voucher which Paypal clearly showed the AU amount.

    • +1

      Storewide a bit difficult

    • +1

This is a sitewide deal, aka an actual deal. Not to be confused with the fake coupon code deals where its only a selected ebay endorsed group of sellers that price jack everything up in advance.

  • +1

stackable with CRACKA20? I will probably spend my whole month's salary..

Hey, one can wish though, can't he :P

    • +8

I will probably spend my whole month's salary..

So you can finally afford a fidget spinner !!! Win !!!

      • +4

you do live up to your reputation. Congrats !!!

    • +1

Only one code can be used.

    • +6

Yes every seller over all of eBay will hike prices

      • -4

Probably not because most of shops are close now. Unless ebay told them in advance

        • +4

Stuff I'm interested in hasn't hiked. Unfortunately 15% doesn't reach my trigger point on either item so I'm sitting this one out until 20% returns or price naturally drops.

        • +1

          @Click_It:

Has ebay ever done 20% site-wide and when was the last time?

15% is not amazing but because it's site wide, you can find the best price on stuff and get it even cheaper. Almost definitely cheaper than the 20% codes with a set list of stores.

        • @FiveDarrah: yeah last year's 20% off I saved over $600

      • +2

not EVERY SELLER, i am a seller myself, but i won't jack up the price.

        • Who eats the discount? Ebay, or are you forced to lose 15%?

        • +1

@furyou: ebay, we are only paying the fvf and listing fees if applicable

        • @0031nek: I mean you wanted to sell for $100, I pay $85. Do you get $85 or +$15 from ebay ? Seems strange you lose 15 for no reason.

        • @furyou: I think the point is they always get $85, or perhaps $90 or $95, if Ebay are funding the discounts with the hope of future business.

        • @mattythecapybara:

Discounts are all marketing. They are 'funding' it with their marketing budget.

        • +1

@furyou: Let's say, as per normal days (without hump month, 15% sitewide etc), if my product is listed as $100, i may actually ended up only $87 for every listed $100 product that you bought (by this mean i have to pay % of fees to ebay for every item sold at $100, you are only paying $100, i listed as $100, but actually expecting $87 only, after paying fees etc) During 15% discount, you are paying only $85 after discount, but we already paid ebay $13 when you click purchase. A $2 lost from ebay in this case that you see, is only a part of marketing from ebay, preventing us the seller from diverting buyers to our own online store most of the time if not all.

Hmm, the bank account hasn't recovered from last week yet.

  • -2

    Has this been confirmed yet?

  • -1

    Let the price jack begin

    • +23

Price jack + ebay 15% off= Jack Off

  • Nice. Too bad just bought something this week.

  • Min spend?

  • -1

No wonder foreigners bought so many properties.

  • +2

Dang spent $50 this morning using the 5% code. Feels bad man…

    • +9

That's why you buy something else to make up for it mate =p

      • +3

Already ahead of you, watch list is packed.

  • +8

Ozbargain, you have failed me. I checked this morning and no sign of a deal.

I paid $2.70 extra for nothing.

    • +1

I spent just over $200 earlier. I feel your …pain

      • As montorola suggested, we should soothe this pain by buying something nice…

    • +1

Look on the bright side - you received 1.3% cashback from cashrewards on that additional $2.70 you paid … thats 3.5 cents you would not have saved using this deal ;-)

    • +2

You paid $2.70 for a life lesson. Never pay full price!

  • Storewide or sitewide?

  • +11

Quit playing @eBay, just give us the 20% already.

    • They just did! Beware, don't buy at 15%!

      • yeah, give us 20% with every retailers! not only selected one..

      • +1

Selected seller sales are rife with pricejacking so the discounts are often fake, whereas sitewide discounts see far less pricejacking.

    • -2

They technically did a few times in the last week. $20 off/$100 spend and also a couple of $10 off/$50 spend codes.

Brb, just juggling my cart as still got a $10off/$30 spend AusPost code and then wanting to maximize this current deal :D

      • +2

        juggle my balls.

        • +4

couldn't get past the spider webs and cheese

  • Yes!!

  • What do you all think of the current mega deal?

DJI mavic Pro fly more combo for $999. It seems like an unreal deal.

  • +21

15% sitewide confirmed. Min spend $75. Max discount $300. Starts 10pm. Ends 2am.

    • +1

But this one is FHD and not 4K

    • -1

Please note that it will be $1999 as the max discount is cap at $300.

      • +2

Use CRACKA20 for further 20% in Dell eBay store

        • Sorry, forgotten about the 20% discount. OP should update the code then in the post.

        • only 1 code can be used at a time (for a transaction). Isn't it?

        • @sridhar: yes, codes can't be stacked…

  • Fingers crossed lenovo decide to put those E470's back up for $849 again. Missed last time.

    • I doubt it as the local stock has sold out but if they restock, the price may come down before the end of June again.

  • Items im watching on 'Robin's Kitchen official' have not increased 😊

  • -2

Sick of the price jacking comments. Link me an item which sold in the last week for 15% LESS than its current selling price. Don't think I will be inundated with links! Most of the stores that get the usual 10-15-20%'s off already sell for 5-15% more than other stores as an everyday price

    • Saying that there's pricejacking doesn't necessarily mean that there is no discount, it means that they're being dishonest about the magnitude of the discount.

  • anyone know any good noise cancelling earphones $100~$200 that i should get during this sale? Thanks :)

  • Ugh. The $300 cap is a killer. I have a $3k USD purchase I've been sitting on so it's going to hurt if I miss it or hit it.

    • time to create 2nd ebay account and purchase using secondary credit card :)

      • you need a second PayPal. I have 2 accounts and it does not work with the C5OZ and other codes that I've tried to use twice.

  • So works with private sellers as well????
