AliExpress have launched an in-house cashback service until the end of the month where you can get up to 15% cashback as AliExpress Credit on all orders made through the app, desktop and mobile site. Basically you join a "team" and the more points each team has the higher the cashback rate is. The base rate is 5% and the maximum rate is 15%.

Instructions:

  1. Open the AliExpress app (Android or iOS)
  2. Tap on Cashback
  3. Join a Team (Martina currently 1st, followed by TechManPat)
  4. Shop as normal on AliExpress and cashback is received once the order ships

There are 5 levels of cashback: 5%, 6%, 8%, 10% and 15%.

Terms and conditions

Since this is an in-app promotion you should have no issue getting cashback through TCB/CR/SB in addition to this. Cashback will continue to track if the products are affiliated. Only social media 'influencers' with over 10,000+ followers and sharing of AliExpress content can create a "team". So there will be no team jv here.

  • can't find Martina

    • She might be full. Go for Techman instead.

      • Martina is still available as I just joined.

  • @jv make a youtube channel so we can follow.

Also, probably going to be more reliable tracking than shopback. Do these cashbacks work with codes like 1 and 2?

    • +3

Digging into the terms further it seems coupons are fine. Codes show up on the cashback page after joining a team too.

    • oh wow, even the top team is still 5% with barely any points. I wonder if the 15% tier is even logistically possible with the current human population? It looks like there's heavy diminishing returns in the points scaling.

      • Must be real then… Roll dem!

    • 29,000 points for 15% and the current leader has ~200 points? I don't think we are ever going to get there.

    no team jv here

    aww no deal then

  • If this system winds up replacing current cashbacks, it might kill their platform.

    • It won't. March is anniversary month so it's just another incentive.

      • Someone's going to see the interest and start trying to capture it, guess we'll see.

        • +1

They've been doing this for years.

      • As long as it does not cancel out affiliate program sales attributions.

That would be a pretty big detriment considering how large the cashback percentages are during promotions. (Like TCB's recent 15%)

      their platform.

      which 'their' ?

How to see this 'Cashback' in a browser, on desktop PC ?

    • +1

You need the app to sign up

      • Thanks for that.

I read that the cashback was available for orders made via desktop PC

you can get up to 15% cashback as AliExpress Credit on all orders made through the app, desktop and mobile site.

but didn't think that signups MUST be via the App.

  • Will cashback stack with the coupon that AliExpress auto-created when they cancelled my order? Thanks.

    • +1

Yep should be no issue. I have dozens of US$2.00 off US$2.01 coupons attached to my account and it hasn't impacted anything else.

got sucked into their water tree mini game. then collecting coins.
honestly aliexpress feels like a fever dream.

    • +1

I'm on my 3rd tree there. TCB > AliExpress > Play & Earn > Bundle Deals

I get my cashback, my cheaper bundle deals and a shitload of water.

    • got sucked into their water tree mini game

I have been told it is a scam.
As you progress to 70%, the increment goes up by 0.07% for every 100mL.

      • -1

If it were a scam you wouldn't get the prize at the end. Getting harder towards the end is common sense.

        • It depends on how much you value your time.

          • @DoctorCalculon: It's either that or browsing Reddit while sitting on the throne.

            • @Clear: lol good choice.. there's only so much ccrap you can handle… take it from me haha

    • the same with temu I tried the other day which is even worse than AliExpress
there main motto is to get you to place order in order to get the points needed to play the game and win the FREE prize
the points types varies per different game but the scheme is the same
I started playing and quickly figured out how the game is designed with an exponential curve points requirement, the closure you get to the prize
googled it and ppl were playing few hours every day and winning peanuts after few to many months
their free big coupons always came with bigger order requirements, so time the coupons were themselves split requiring multiple order requirements
this was an Inception game, the closure you got to the prize

and their coin system, can't use all at once, only what they decide to be used which few % or $ per order

We should not forget their main goal, they are here to sale by hook or crook!

      • Agree

        Ali sucks Dead D
        D’s

Maybe if they give 15% it will offset their inability to calculate GST correctly
