  • How exactly do you buy a 12 month music pass? All the links I get just offer me a free 30 day trial and then $11.99 per month.

    • Follow the ball and it allows you to buy a month or a year before checkout

      • I did that. Only got the month option. I even signed up for the 30 day free trial and month option and still no option anywhere to buy a 12 month sub. I tried on Windows 10 PC, Windows 10 Phone and Xbox One. No 12 month option anywhere.

        • Odd, I click on the above link, click Get Groove and the option says 1 month or 12 months,

Is your account set to AUS? And are you pre-logged in before loading the page?

The link with 12 and 1 month is https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/store/music/groove-music-pas… if it helps

        • @brent3000:

Yep. It is odd. Logged in. Aussie store. All I got was a 30 day trial offer. Now that I have accepted the offer, that link you gave me just says 'Launch Groove'. I even cancelled my 30 day trial and it still says 'Launch Groove'. My trial will remain active until the 25th June. Nowhere can I find a 12 month option. It's got me beat.

I only ever purchased groove when they had the 50% off yearly option. It is the worst music platform known to mankind! Still not worth it back then.

You can subscribe to 12 months after you login, via: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/store/music/groove-music-pas…

It will show the 12 month option after you've logged in.

The beauty of Groove Music is that you also get the music videos on selected devices, I use this a lot for when I have parties at home and run the Groove Music app through my Xbox One, works a treat.

    • Google Play Music subscription includes YouTube Red, so ad-free videos as well as the YouTube music app, which provides something similar.

  • Small note that the $35 has a 90 day validation,

Should be able to use it on the new Xbox pass maybe?

    • Good find. I'd use that within 90 days with movies or games on the Xbox One anyway.

  • Actually their iPhone app looks to have come along way, I've just signed into that and it's a very nicely built app, I'm impressed.
