$8/wk is a bit expensive when you can read it online for free…

For people who are already buying the paper, it's a huge discount.

Not all the content in the paper appear on their website (and vice versa).

    • If it helps keep good writers in jobs then I support it!

      • i reckon most of the revenue comes from advertising on their internet site…

  • Minimum cost appears to be 3 months at $32/month (=$96 total).

    • That's not a bad deal if your not getting it delivered already, also since it's a 7 day subscription you get the full member benefits. I took up the 4 day package at 25 cents a paper lol.

Now that was a good deal… But i usually get the herald sun, so even 25c was a waste of money… :)

  • Only Victoria as well…

just one of the many benefits living here… :P

  • Award-winning journalism?

I know it's a matter of opinion but I find that The Age is irritably one-sided in its editorial support for the Labor party. Instead of maintaining neutrality in its reporting and striving to provide objective arguments, The Age, through its bias reporting and twisted editorials, had consistently manipulated the public image of the two main parties in favour of Labor.

I'm not a supporter of either of the two main parties. When I read the newspapers I expect to be informed of the salient points and facts, so that I can make better judgements on the merits of their policies, not some condescending party propaganda. After all, that is what good journalism is about, isn't it?

it's a newspaper not a judge, the herald is just as bad on their issues.
