Just FYI the dongle they provide is not just a converter, it's also an external amp.
The USB type c headphones provide are active noise cancelling as well which is kinda cool.
They need an adapter that is both a usb-c port and a headphone jack. Have the Moto Z and hate it that I can't listen to music and charge at the same time without going wireless headphones.
The USB-C adapter also has a built in DAC for those with expensive CANS.
It is not a basic USB-C to 3.5mm adaptor.
They couldn't do noise cancelling buds via 3.5 headphone jack. That's the reason.
I would've preferred to keep the jack and do USB-C buds as well. That way it would give people a choice.
I like how they are trying to conceal thick bezels with shading.

Looks awful and it's USP is retarded. It's actually trying to pretend that extra buttons on phones is some amazing new invention … and the "button" in question is remarkably harder to use than a button. Pointless innovation aka throwing shit at a wall.

You will be able to map the squeeze to perform just about any task you like.
It can take photos under water where a traditional screen won't work to capture a photo. Not to mention it will be handy in colder climates where people often wear gloves.
It's actually easy to setup and once you have. Squeezing is actually faster and easier than looking for and pressing a button.
Squeezing Works better underwater and with gloves on on the touchscreen. Touchscreen isn't as responsive on traditional touchscreen when fingers or screen is wet.
U11 also offers superior grip when holding and using camera with one hand in selfie mode and normal photos vs awkward finger gestures when pressing button.
It's also cheaper than the S8, Offers superior android experience, superior audio experience via USB-C and the 3.5mm adaptor with DAC built in.
HTC U 11 US$649 vs S8's US$749 price tag.

The most exciting phone and definitely offers more than the U Ultra. But would prefer Australian resellers for warranty purposes.
But I don't think Amazon ships this phone to Australia…
