Saw this in the Herald Sun today….

Melba restaurant celebrates their 25th Anniversary on the 26th June. They are offering $25pp for their Lunch buffet, this is usually $59pp. IMO their buffet spread and produce is arguably the best in town.

Select from the diverse range including Char Grill, The Spice Kitchen, Turbo Wok, Asian Dumpling Station, the Rotisserie, Sushi Bar, Italian authentic pasta station, fresh seafood but leave room for the decadent dessert selection.

Bookings can be made 9am this Friday here

    I wouldn't​ go. Would be jam packed. Would be like a soup kitchen waiting for food. Nice food though.

    Pricey, but the food is nice.. I particularly enjoy the savoury and sweet naan from The Spice Kitchen and chilli squid from the Turbo Wok.

    I typically use the coupon from the Entertainment Book to subsidise my meal (25% off up to $40?)

        Gotta wait for the next offer when it comes around.
        The $300 spend (gift voucher), does that have to be used all in one sitting? I'm never going to hit that for a meal just for 2 people.

    Crown has a much better buffet, also most people avoid The Langham since the food inspector issues a few years back. Still a good deal.

      I personally found that The Conservatory's food quality was good initially, but declined after the renovation a while back – do you think it has improved again?

        was there in March 16 for dinner and found it excellent compared to the Langham. very similar priced at about $100 a head.

        Was at Conservatory Easter week.The spread was fantastic,not how I remembered when I last visit.I must say it is way better than Langham (last visit with lobster-waited so long- dinner buffet).
        Conservatory 1 vs. Melba 0 (even if it is $25).
        The other hidden gem and reasonably priced is Sunday buffet lunch at Mesh.

    Buffet is amazing, the dessert bar is even more amazing-er! drool

    Honestly, best buffet I've ever attended, by far! We're very fussy eaters and their buffet meals are better than some restaurants.

    Spewing I won't be in Vic at the time, enjoy OzBargainers.

    Booking prior to 9am this Friday is at their standard prices. The special apply only valid for booking after the advertised time (9am) this Friday. I have called to confirm that.

    I've been advised all bookings made on Friday will now go into a ballot and you will be advised if you have been successful or not. Any bookings made prior will be incur $59 pp.
    Phone bookings wont be accepted.
