    The successor to the CAAD8 is the CAAD Optimo (2017), not a lot of difference tbh

  Great bike. Red is a nice colour (goes faster?).

  Swap the wheels for Ultegra 6800 wheelset which I think are the best value upgrade to drop a good amount of wheel weight (cost around $380), and you're on a winner.

    I personally prefer the Black/White. I wasn't sold on the Black/Red. And where did you find the Ultegra 6800 wheelset for approx. $380? I take that is w/o the tyres? I recently bought the Mavic Cosmic Elite wheetset (including tyres) for $400

      Wiggle have had the wheels for around this price for a long time. I own an old 6600 series model and they are still great. The 6800 have bladed spokes now so really good value for wheels that are bomb proof.

      … And yes no tyres. Cosmic elite with tyres for 400 is a great price too. Bit heavier but good value.

        Yea, I couldn't pass up that deal for a cheap upgrade (it sold out soon after). These should last awhile till I upgrade the bike some time down the road

  Just purchased one, apprantly they got about 120 of them and sold over half yesterday alone. Really happy with the bike and more so with the price. The guys in there are excellent and spent over 45min with me as I asked every stupid question I could think of. Thanks Ozbargain.. more $$$ spent
