    I would personally buy higher rated stands, but these still meet the same Australian standards. They're perfectly safe.

      You're correct, they meet AS and are perfectly safe if used correctly, car never rocked etc.

      There have been instances where these types of stands fail, much safer to spend a bit more to get the A frame type stand.

    Well, nothing is as safe as a big wooden stump. Or at least a spare tire.
